PS5 does support HDMI 2.1, it's part of the advertised specs; it just doesn't support its max bandwidth. It would not be able to output at 4K120hz at all if it was not. Stop trying to spread fake news. Take your Xbox grievances out in articles related to Xbox.

Sony very rarely showcases a 60fps mode, but they're always there, along with that 40fps mode Eonjay mentioned.
Since they rolled out VRR I think every game with a 30fps mode has a 40fps mode too, with one exception to TLOU Part 1 that launched with it, then removed it in a post-release patch since it barely hit 40

The state of gaming itself does not suck today. I disagree with the 'golden era' being long over - Horizon Burning Shores was a great follow up to the fantastic Forbidden West, FFXVI (despite easiness and lack of depth in certain regards) has a fun combat system combined with stunning visuals and set pieces, SF6 is an incredible fighter and MK1 looks to be another solid follow up in that franchise. FFXVI has a moment early on where your crew sees the first major crystal in the distance. We have to get there by nightfall.
It cuts to a loading screen. We select the point on the map. It loads again - nightfall now and we're at the crystal. Rinse and repeat for getting anywhere not part of your loaded instance chunk.
Replace FFXVI with Starfield and crystal with planet, and it's quite literally the same.

I'm having amazing fun in the game. About 20 hours in the last 4 days. Glad I can enjoy a game while you guys are so bitter, going out of your way to project such negativity on something you'll never attempt to play yourself just because it's not on PlayStation.

They deliberately screwed over their console fans, issued their totally-genuine apologies, and now that they're riding the goodwill train again with Overdrive RT and a current-gen exclusive Expansion with another hot actor, they're trying to rewrite the story around how that initial release was received.
I don't trust them either. They've already said any RED Engine and Cyberpunk work after this will be maintenance only too.
