Why is CDPR held on a pedestal again?
... ah yes, they put out one piece of content and everyone forgets the three years it took to get here, and they even forget that CDPR is attempting to rewrite the history around their own botched release.
It's only $50 more, for more storage, likely less energy usage than the current models (especially launch systems), and the ability to upgrade to the disc drive - no remorse and being stuck digital only.
That seems worth a $50 bump to me.
$50 difference with it bundled, $80 standalone.
I was thinking it would be no cheaper than a $100 difference. I really like the look of it too - I'm impressed.
Xbox Series X All Digital is DOA if they don't release a USB C drive
"everyone praises the studio"
... I didn't praise them. Nor would I - Redfall at any FPS isn't a game for me and Xbox used piss-poor judgment in not delaying the game.
@Doomed
Naughty Dog needs to first release something this generation that isn't a remaster or remake.
And they need to not use Fedex again, my Part 1 Firefly Edition came banged up and scuffed.
Yeah, just yesterday the usual crew of people used this game as an example of poor MS management to make it seem like Factions 2's failure is a positive thing for Sony. So weird.
Xbox and Bethesda still have to make good on their promised and paid-for DLC though. If they don't, they better lay out a plan for reimbursements or be ready for a gamer lawsuit.
Sony Studios has had a great run at providing post-release expansions and side stories.
TLOU Left Behind
Uncharted Lost Legacy
Horizon Frozen Wilds
Horizon Burning Shores
Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island
... And the Legends mode!
... And SuckerPunch's previous expansions for each infamous game
Spider-Man with the City That Never Sleeps *and* Miles Morales

Whoever boasted that was factually incorrect and should be called out.
Who here was spreading the fake news that RDR received FPS boost?
I commend you for not giving Videogamer.com the click.
Yes, CDPR just says "is" but the article clarifies today
I remember the first game as being really short and thought "No way!"
Well yes way. HowLongToBeat has AC1 several hours longer in all three time categories...
And the game isn't even on Steam so they're not getting my money any time soon
So now, people are convincing themselves that Sony and Naughty Dog have great management *because* Factions 2 is a failed project.
This is even better than the guy who suggested we buy GaaS to support Sony single player.
Call of Duty MW2 was day and date I believe, but this (like OW2) had a staggered release.
Personally if I bought it for PC I'd only do so through Steam; I can hope though if the Activision merger goes through that they'll convert digital Xbox purchases to Xbox Play Anywhere.
I agree.
The opening puzzle was a little too vague because I missed something super obvious once I realized what it was. The few attempts at combat back at launch were very rough. It gave me one bout of motion sickness in a section of the game was was especially grey and linear.
But when puzzles felt not-too-obscure and you got out of the grey-on-grey corridors, the experience was unique at least.

The Xbox version's highest review score on Metacritic is an 80.
One review site gave the PC version a 10. One. Not some. One. That same site gave 100s to BG3, Starfield, Horizon Burning Shores, and FFXVI as well.
@Swiss just wait until some people learn the Metascores of Days Gone (71) and Ghost of Tsushima (83).
Hype = maximum
Swing assist = minimum
Cannot waaaait for 10/20! Even have the next Monday taken off of work.
Possibly the worst catch phrase *ever* come up for a console. I don't even know how something like that gets written down and not laughed out of the meeting room.
This is Sony not trying to screw customers, just like Sony didn't screw 25 contractors at Naughty Dog, just like how admins aren't censoring negative Sony news.
Nothing is or can ever be negative with Sony!
@darth there are no legitimate examples - AMD themselves made it extremely clear as many devices as possible would be compatible with FSR, both 1 and 2.
I mean, part of the announcement was it even being run on Nvidia GTX cards...
If mobile gaming is to evolve beyond F2P MTX crap, someone has to start somewhere.
Delivering two of the best and most-detailed Resident Evil games on mobile without making "Mobile" or "Lite" versions would of course cost higher than expected.
Also, Village and 4 are cross device apps; Village released separately on MacOS but is a single purchase for iPhone and iPad, and RE4 is a single purchase across all three Apple OSes. You're ...
"And, since there are numerous fake ratings for all sorts of GTA games on that board, we can safely say that this is a fake rumor"
