What a stupid perspective to suggest any major player in this industry does something just to "f**k" it over.
And your core argument is a contradiction. Microsoft's consolidation, and all of us will be hit by it, but the result so far is the properties they own are going multi platform... Sooo scary, what a terrible thing, oh my.
And the layoffs? Nintendo might just be one of the only major tech-related companies in the entire world not doin...
OG Xbox and Xbox 360 BC titles with FPS boost on handheld, how is having that as an option or possibility something to complain about?
That's the biggest unique thing a handheld Xbox can bring to the table, support for its legacy and those games where they either didn't release on Windows, or suffer from compatibility issues with the current Windows.
There is a third person mode
The most popular release date this holiday will just be:
GTA VI
Sometime-before-or-after-but- absolutely-not-near GTA VI
EA sucks, we all get it, but I'd rather the "military multiplayer FPS" genre not be reduced to just one single title in COD.
I mean, just look at the tone here already for what we'll read soon. The next headlines will be an absurd narrative on how they had to downgrade the game to get 60fps
Oh my shared world experiences!
oh I know that - especially in that context, what gives anyone but Square the authority to say their launch was "spectacular"?
A solid release, but when Square does it:
"When [hot item] is a 10... but has to meet Square Enix's expectations"
Who was your least favorite character?
I'm definitely in Act 1 still, only just got Lucanis to join my party. He seems cool, like a typical DA character. Bellara annoys me in a way though that bothers me the more I hear her. There are moments so far of quality writing, and Rook seems written from a good perspective, Lucanis too so far. But if the game goes more in the direction of Bellara and her tone as it continues... I definitely get the complaints.
Calm down? Lol I'm good, I'm not Sony greenlighting a dozen titles in a two week frenzy out of "oh no my stock value!"
Can we get a comment from Square Enix on this before we go through a full round of this getting shared everywhere?
It seems like so many "journalists" are leeching onto the words of the Circana/NPD guy sharing his opinion on what the numbers mean, when so far Square hasn't said a peep.
Oh yeah I'm sure Microsoft announced their intent, and in the two weeks leading into Sony's commitment of 10+ GaaS, that was when they decided "Yeah, let's indeed go against COD with... umm God of War by the Demons Souls team! Sure! What else?"
Prepping us for TLOU Part 2's port quality
Both peaked worse than Concord
Yes, and they cared enough and did their due diligence that these ever got put in. We didn't ask for those modes, Ubisoft did it on their own.
If with Shadows there are so many little nitpicks already, pieces like this are no more than "Look over there!" puff articles excusing Ubisoft for things they used to care for.
A Nazi Salute is a Nazi Salute and you may as well be a Nazi for defending people using the Nazi Salute.
There is important contextual difference.
Assassin's Creed, especially Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla, use their attention to historical accuracy and plausibility as marketing beats. History modes are even in the latest games. The way Shadows had been presented showed how much they slipped from the standard they used to adhere to, in a way that comes off as disrespectful to the culture the game is sourced from.
