Totally agree with SoM and DTDA.
Eternal's probably my favorite FPS campaign, ever, but I understand the dislike for it. The challenge can be pretty insane and the combat arenas can be so freaking sweaty. It's like you have to use all the ammo of every weapon and refill your equipment/health/shields at a perfect cadence in the harder difficulty. The most rewarding "Pride and Accomplishment" I felt in a game outside of Elden Ring, but I get it.
At a time where other third parties have started to pull back on their additional logins, Sony triples down on it.
Post-launch update too. Again.
One of the richest people in the world with an incredible amount of influence is posing as a gamer as much as he poses as a Nazi.
Yes it's shit, but this shit also said he wants to remove DEI in games by developing games with AI, as he runs a social media empire working from the White House paying the Chinese to boost his accounts in an Early Access game.
Did you think Switch 1 could've gotten titles like Ark, Doom Eternal, The Witcher 3, and other "impossible ports"?
Devs have to account for Series S to be on Xbox. Modern AAA games like Rebirth and Veilguard launch with Steam Deck Verified. Jedi Survivor just got a One/PS4 port. BG3 is another Deck Verified major title. If there's money to be made, publishers will find a way and we have signs in front of us already.
There should be more leaks from more studios and developers.
Greedy corporations like Sony, like Microsoft, who boast about their profits ("most profitable generation" for Sony) while cutting projects/jobs, deserve to be exposed for the years of developers' lives and careers being absolutely wasted with nothing to show for it.
Maybe if someone at Guerrilla can leak this stylized Horizon GaaS, our feedback can kill that off before Sony invest...
The story was completely the issue. They made a villain out of Cortana with no context and killed off the main villain of 4 in a comic or book. The marketing painted a different picture versus what we got. 343 had no conviction in what they made for any of 4, 5, and Infinite.
So little conviction they even had to change name to save face.
And it's like... Why even did they go down this path. Single Player success and profits were invested in Gaas. And now it's suggested we should rebuy those same single player games to show we want more single player games.
The first time wasn't clear enough to Sony, clearly and very, very unfortunately. Such a blatant disregard and disrespect to their fan base.
I think I'd give it to Metroid Prime and Echoes. 60fps with all those particle effects, and Samus' reflections.
The Remaster on Switch and Trilogy version on Wii are actually missing certain graphical effects.
120fps!
... Standing still, not causing any particle effects or triggering any LOD transition
So CS7 is just a pervert that only plays games where they're sexually attracted to the playable character. Handsome masculine men and beauty queen ladies only.
What was one thing preachy about TLOU Part 2's story?
A yearly subscription cost to NSO+Expansion Pack is $50.
$50. Cheaper than a single new game.
Life is Strange has always catered to a niche demographic and Square Enix acting like it's a mainstream franchise is a fault of them not understanding their own titles.
They don't own Deus Ex anymore either, and haven't for a while. Be informed
And the reward for fans of Prince of Persia The Lost Crown who bought on Day One - the team got dissolved.
It's just a lose-lose with them
I have two friends with a Series S, and I have one too that I used a year while the X was out of stock.
It does achieve what it's built for I suppose, but it's not a device I'd recommend over anything else. It's just awful that there's a current gen console that plays a lot of last gen games in an objectively worse way, I don't care that One X is an upgraded sku.
One friend with it only really plays Skyrim, almost religiously. The ...
I'm more Day Twenty-One or One Hundred
If it follows Ubisoft tradition it'll be 3-4 updates in and on sale before the end of the first month out.
So just use Reflex, and turn off Frame Gen. There, that resolves your reason to complain over tech advancements.
Yep, they've only developed Forza Horizon since their founding in 2009, and the studio developing Fable is a separate team/studio within Playground dedicated to Fable - it's not their Horizon team.
Based on Wiki, they're all still in the same region or city in the UK, but different offices and people. Yet they're still using ForzaTech from Turn10.
When this is all done, maybe it'll be a disaster, or maybe Microsoft will finally have it...
"AI upscaling is still few years away before it really becomes useful"
... uhh... we've had AI Upscaling since the RTX 20 Series 6-7 years ago; it's been useful for years and DLSS4 only makes the best solution out there even better.
I thought the original trailers were in just 30fps?
Watching this now and... it looks like a new AC to me. I really enjoyed Mirage, and I enjoy the decapitations they've got in this preview. Heck, if combat is visceral as Yasuke, the stealth is balanced right, and it launches as a stable game, I might actually get this sooner than later.
