I've been out of town and played about an hour remotely this morning. Adjusted my FOV, turned down motion blur and camera shake, remapped the control inputs (a first for Halo - controller inputs before were restricted only to their predefined settings).
Even in this worst-case, it looked, felt, and sounded exactly like Halo should. Can't wait to be home tonight in front of my 4K.
A Sony game trailer is still up with the same "Get Ready For Next Gen" text on YouTube.
One of their cross-gen games announced as a next-gen only title (could apply to almost everything they have announced, actually)
You totally know more about the performance of the game and its capability in hitting VRR frame rates than the developers that spent the effort implementing it.

Straight from the developer.
30fps with unlocked framerate on VRR.
Show me any PC that runs this game at a locked 60fps
What's the "it" here - Steam Deck or their latest F2P flop?
After all the huffing and puffing about Phil having "no confidence" in Infinite... First wave of players, say whatever you want!
"I was about to complain about just that btw."
You are so the kind of person that goes to small restaurants just to complain that Subway has cheaper prices.
I'm excited for this Remake. No micro transactions confirmed at the announcement is a good sign, Motive has been through a lot so I'll gladly exercise patience until it's in a good place to show off.
Is the N Sane Trilogy enhanced for current-gen with this or is it still the same 30fps as originally released on PS4/XBone?
This makes me curious... would it be possible to move an SD card from Steam Deck, and have the non-Linux-native library instantly playable when we plug it into a PC?
Or an external HDD plugged into the Deck with a USB-C cable?
And considering Sony recently formed a partnership with Netflix worth billions to exclusively stream their movies starting with their 2022 releases, more wood for the fire...
It's a game they partnered with AMD for. You're not getting Nvidia APIs in this game.
Village doesn't have DLSS support.
The story and character scenarios were over-the-top in the best ways and they went all in, indulging on its ridiculousness, but still kept it grounded with tense moments.
My favorite RE and I can't wait to go through the Shadows difficulty once they release the PC patch
DualSense Design Lab, please Sony?
I'll lose just as much sleep as I do when I worry about my Steam and eShop libraries.
From what I recall reading, the RE Village implementation is the out-of-the-box lower-quality Tier 1 variety from AMD's FidelityFX.
Doom Eternal utilizes the improved Tier 2 VRS at a dev-stated 10-15% performance uptick, which is about what Gears 5/Tactics got, but it's only on Xbox Series. I *think* Gears 5 has a tier 2 implementation, and Tactics at least launched with Tier 1.
It's an unadvertised mode enabled only when 120hz is enabled on the system. 120hz support.
Waah waah
... oh I'm the one mentioning the executive now? You pulled that card way earlier in the comment right below mine.
It's Friday night, pour one out for the GameStop employees that MS is personally hurting on my behalf.
Halo Waypoint's message told me that I was on the preview for the PC build. But the Insider section of my profile showed me on Xbox... and that's indeed what the Insider Hub showed (Xbox had it but PC didn't).
If I can actually get it on PC tonight I'll take it for a spin - 2070S GPU so it's roughly the same as Series X performance.
