So many people flying off in so many different directions. I'll just start by saying that I own all 3 consoles (Wii, 360, and PS3). I used to be a big Nintendo fan but that's faded away alot since their focus on the casual market.
I concur that if you own both a 360 and a PS3 then the 360 is probably gonna be your go-to console for multi-platform games. Whatever the reason, often the games do run and/or look slightly better on the 360. Though some of these comments I see seem t...
Ah, 1stKnighT... unbiased as always. -_-
You can't beat MGS4 in 5 hours on your first playthrough. Even by skipping the cutscenes it's very unlikely. Check out some speedruns for other games and you'll see some meaty titles get cut down considerably. This seemed to be there first playthrough of Too Human and yet they say you can punch through it in about 10 hours. That is almost certainly counting cutscenes as well. Please keep your BS to yourself. Gears of War's campaign is ve...
It seems you can make an article about anything these days. If the ad is stupid for anything... it's that they're using wiimotes. ;)
The only one that really comes to mind is Folklore. It's been out since October of last year. Some like it, some hate it. I've only played the demo but I fall into the latter category.
IGN did give it a 9.0 though.
I have no idea how well any of their games have sold... but VGcharts has been proven to be incredibly unreliable. I wouldn't take there numbers for anything if I were you.
"Only in your dreams" is more like it.
Team Ico Project
Final Fantasy XIII
Heavy Rain
God of War III
Gran Turismo 5
Little Big Planet
SOCOM
Wardevil
White Knight Chronicles
Uncharted 2
Resistance 2
Killzone 2
Motorstorm 2
These are just a few off the top of my head that I can imagine seeing at E3. I've gotta say even half that list would be great. I really think this year Sony's going to be rocking the show. I expect Microsoft to sho...
I have all three consoles, but between now and the end of this year there should only be a small handful of titles to pick up. Perhaps earlier in the year there was alot of bigger games coming out, but the coming months don't have much that I'm terribly excited about. Things will likely really heat up at the begginning of next year though. And E3 may bring the announcement of a few more titles to hit by the holiday season.
Oh, and I don't think you can ever suffer from too man...
For those wondering when White Knight is to be released...
"Aside from addressing new firmware features for the PS3, the presentation also offered a few tidbits concerning the entertainment device's bread and butter: games. Specifically, in touting its upcoming lineup of PlayStation 3-exclusive games, the publisher revealed that Level 5's White Knight Story is expected to launch during the current fiscal year, which ends March 31, 2009."

Ok, I understand more of what you're saying now. I'm not gonna say I agree with everything 100% but I can see now you weren't just trying to knock the game. Didn't really mean to accuse you of that, but y'know you see all these other really ignorant comments from people and you can start interpretting other comments the same way. It was that 71% cutscenes things that jumped out at me... but I see you meant it in a different way than I initially thought.
So no worries there! And...
"I always thought the first one was incredibly disappointing. In fact I didn’t really think Halo nailed what Bungie wanted it to do until the third one single player wise."
I found this in the comments in the article and thought it was really funny. If that's the case... I wish Bungie had never nailed it. lol
No doubt about it I was quite a fan of the first game. I probably would give a SLIGHT edge to Halo 2 (Halo 3 just makes me sad) but the first game...
Well if you truly have beaten the game in that amount of time it's very impressive. Of course I doubt it would be very hard to find a pic like that on the internet.
That matters not though! I've said before... speedruns cannot and should not be counted. To call it 71% cutscenes is ridiculous because no one is going to get through it that fast on their first playthrough. On average is takes 15-20 hours for most. It took me about 25 the first time because I like to take my time w...
I really don't know about this whole 'targeting by gender' thing. I'm sure there are games that appeal more to woman than others. I believe the Sims games for the PC had a high percentage of female players. Now I don't know of any research numbers or anything, but it's my belief that female's who actually own console(s) and go out and by games, aren't actually that different from male gamers. I'm talking specifically about REAL female gamers - not the casual bunch. I dunno... I just don't thi...
Oh man... this is hilarious.
I think going with this theme they could also say...
"Sega makes you sore as hell!"
No reason to add them to the list, but just know Nintendo's entire lineup would be on there.
Haha, you crack me up Mr. POG clone. You must have gotten the dominant genes. ;)
I don't know about anyone else... but I'm impressed Pacbell can play video games without looking at the screen!
Oh, I completely respect your opinion. I can see where you're coming from as well. I'll even agree with you that the love story in FFX is corny and rushed. It didn't even have to be that way considering how much time they had throughout the game to build on it. It's funny because though it is a bit 'shoddy' it kinda becomes one of the game's focal points. No doubt about it... more could have been done in that area. Though I'll just tell you this was alot less of a problem for me because I'm s...
This just in!
PSP 2 to feature edible buttons and new scentHD technology, allowing you to actually smell things from the game world in stunning high defintion! Now you're not just in the game... the game is in your nose!
Well if this were DOA Vader would be a woman under that suit.
Really though, the titles for some of these articles that make there way to N4G I just can't help but laugh at.
I did see that. In fact I read ALMOST the entire thing. I did skip a few small paragraphs detailing some of the gameplay.
"Translation: If you've played it once or twice through and just skip all the searching and are playing it just to beat it then you can beat it in a little over 10 hours."
That's not exactly what they said. In fact I don't think they detail enough there to really draw an accurate conclusion on what was meant. They didn't specifically...
