Resident Evil 5 has two nominations there actually! Best console game and best action/adventure title.
The amount of things you can do with this game just sounds really unbelievable. But from what I've heard and seen... I'm a believer. And the more I learn the more I start to think this title could have a large casual appeal as well. I have a feeling that for those who don't look up video game news on the internet or pay attention to awards... this game will still reach them by word of mouth. I can really see it happening. Especially with such a family-friendly look!

I've been withholding my judgement of Too Human for awhile now. In fact, back when there was all that stuff about it being just 10 hours long I defended it and said that websites can often exagerate. Much like what happened with MGS4. Y'know, all that crap about it having 90 minute cutscenes and whatnot. I was telling people they should wait to see for themselves if the previews were true. And in the last Too Human thread I posted in (no more than a week ago) I gave my thoughts on the conflic...

I expected software sales to pick up for third party developers on the PS3... but I can't say I ever imagined to see numbers like this so soon! Really it's amazing when you think about it with the PS3 having the smallest install base.
Well that's great news for Sony. I'm sure more third party developers are going to take note of this and see there's real potential on PS3. Those console owners aren't JUST buying bluray movies!

I think it would be scarier if I owned the game. I've never even played it before but I saw the attached video a long time ago. Check it out if you wannna see some of the wackiest wii controls out there.
Ah, I'm not 'offended' by the article like some crazy Sony peeps probably will be. Afterall it's satire. Just... not very funny satire if you ask me. I can't even imagine the controls for this game. I just keep thinking of that one DBZ game for the Wii. Having to go through the motion to perform Ryu's Hadoken. Yes, but that's not all... they can integrate Wii speak into the game. Not for talking. No... to perform various attacks (along with doing the motions) you must also yell out in the same manner as whatever fighter you're being or you'll simply do nothing.
And they say Nintendo isn't for the hardcore!

I haven't played a Street Fighter game since Street Fighter II on the SNES, but I'm really excited for this one. I'm glad it's still retaining the same basic gameplay mechanics.
The cast of characters they have for this game is pretty impressive I think. I only hope that the balance is thrown off too much. I know any any fighting game there tends to be a cheap character or two... but I hope it's mostly even.
Hilde looks very interesting too. It'll be interesting playing as character who has two different types of weapons. Really this game is looking great. Tomorrow's the day I get my hands on it! Can't wait!
