Have a sex change.
I believe he meant MGS4 as the best looking action title.
Though Infamous is one of the best looking sandbox games I've seen.
I know. In fact I never even go to Metacritic since I personally don't care about the average. There's only a few review places I trust. But there's SOME people on this site who constantly post Metacritic averages and say it proves something. I did it for those fine folks.
Pretty much all the rest was my opinion and I wasn't trying to put down either console. Rather I just think it's ridiculous that some people are already heralding the 360 as THE mega RPG machine. As I've admi...
First of all I don't even know why you singled out Juuken in an article she wasn't even trolling. And teasing her way up the ladder? What the f*ck does that even mean? Seriously, is there a video going around where she's prancing about in her underwear using the PS3 as a balance board or something? Understand this... PS3 fans stick together. Xbox fans stick together. Wii fans stick together. That's how it works.
Second of all, this is the open zone. It's where sh!t gets thrown ...

lol I'm just kidding with ya! ;)
You do make some of the longest comments I've ever seen but you make great points. Bubble you all the time.
:)
You know what you're trying to do. Don't pretend you don't either. It would be like me waltzing into a Xbox 360 article regarding avatars and saying...
"Well, Microsoft's trying to catch up to Nintendo... but not doing it so well."
I'll admit that Sony's trophy implementation hasn't been great so far... but trophies are merely a nice little bonus. Just like achievements. But that's ALL they are... a bonus. It doesn't add any extra content to the game. I...
Though it's not a HUGE deal... I'm very happy that Dead space will have trophy support. Along with Mirror's Edge which was recently confirmed too.
I honestly don't think either console (Xbox 360 and PS3) has really stepped up to be a huge J-RPG powerhouse as of yet. I'll admit this fall the 360 has the advantage when it comes to Japanese RPG's. I don't feel it's by ALOT... but it's at an advantage nonetheless. That being said I think it can be argued that there hasn't been any AAA J-RPG's so far this generation (not counting the handhelds). I mean, since so many people love to bow down to metacritic we might as well take a look...
Killzone 2 is not the first FPS to do a cover system. You're right about that. However, the way they're doing it is unique. It's the only FPS (to my knowledge) that remains in first-person view behind cover. Perfect Dark Zero, for example, switches to third-person.
They're both in real-time, man... as stated by the developers. On top of that the video WE THE PUBLIC saw of Heavy Rain was just a bunch of clips taken from the demo which Quantic Dream showed off to various game media sites. The developers actually sat there and PLAYED THE DEMO! It's called a developer walkthrough. We didn't get to see it... but I guess all the gaming sites are lieing to us. It never happened. I bet they were all payed by Sony! Yeah, that's it.
And you're sayi...
I don't know if you read the article or not. It's not the best translation but it gives some more insight into the game and even states that it's not just a bunch of cutscenes that you push buttons through! And this person is impressed by the playable demo that was showcased. We only saw short clips from it! This guy actually got to see the developer walkthrough of it. You sound as if you're condemning it based on one short video.
This doesn't sound 'casual' to me if you've bee...
Hmm... I actually expected it to possibly outsell the PS3 for one more week following Tales' launch. I guess we'll have to see what Infinite Undiscovery does now. I don't expect it'll get quite the reception as a Tales series game just because it's a new IP though. Even though Lost Oddyssey and Blue Dragon had pretty good sales at launch as well... they did have Sakaguchi's name tied to them. I really don't know if that would make any difference to the Japanese though since they're probably m...
You accidentally attached it as an image rather than a video I think. lol
This game surprisingly looks pretty fun though! I wasn't really interested in it before but some of it looks pretty sweet. I'll wait for some reviews of course... but it's nice that they're doing something that looks fairly unique.
"Quite amazing how people can see things in a good light when they are a believer. I don't see it as a reward. I see it as, 'thanks for your 60 bucks for the unfinished game. However, we are fixing it now so instead of playing it right away, *cough* well, you will have to wait 30 minutes or so for the patch to finish before you can play. Have a nice day.
P.S. thanks again for the cash.'"
;)
Now as for my thoughts on this... having to pa...
Well I don't see how he ever saw LittleBigPlanet as a "poor man's spore" being that, at least to me, LittleBigPlanet looks to the user more in control (if they choose to be). What I mean is that while you can create your own creatures, ships, etc... the gameplay will always be the same. The 'story' will always follow the same path. At least from my understanding. So basically the look of your creatures and such is all that will change. Don't get me wrong... I think Spore looks great...
With the power of THE CELL!
No, seriously though... it's an unfortunate story. Not just because the boy can no longer play most games... but because on top of that it's a very debilitating injury that's sure to effect other areas of his life. The fact that it's his entire arm all the way up to his shoulder makes it even worse as there's nothing he could do with that side of his body now.
With the way technology is I wouldn't be surprised though if they were to f...
Hey no problem, man. I don't mind if others like Kotaku... just not really my cup o' tea when it comes to gaming news/journalism. Different strokes!
It's a talented bunch working on this game though and that's even more reason to be optimistic I think. They just need to make sure they don't let a copy fall into the hands of Itagaki. I can just imagine the complaints. lol
"You call those boobs? And what's with this camera? Why is it giving me such a wide vie...
That's not exactly what he said. E3 is just no longer THE big gaming show of the year. It's a shell of its former self, and as sad as it may be... I don't think it'll ever reach the same heights it had years ago. There will always be other shows though and I don't think Sony's wrong not to make E3 their big focus when showcasing games as many developers are using other events as well.
Aye, I also have a feeling they were talking about overall appeal. Though obviously we'll have to wait and see for ourselves... I have my doubts that a multiplatform game could look THAT good. Not ruling it out of course... but I would be very surprised. I don't have a whole ton of faith in Kotaku either. Less to do with which side they lean towards and more to do with the fact that I find some of their 'journalism' laughable.
I am interested in this game though. From what I've...
Oh my god... you're saying the Xbox 360 has had the PS3 'licked' for the last 3 years? The PS3 hasn't even be out 2 years yet! And the 360's been out just under 3 years! I seriously hope that it was 'licking' a console that wasn't even released yet.
That world you live in where only adalwolfe's opinion means anything though... that must be a nice world for you. Hell, you're right on. There's no denying what you've said because.. y'know... there's no such thing as a preferrence co...
