That box art right there is what I'd imagine a Kid Icarus game would look like on PS3. Of course I know we'll never see that on a Playstation console (unless many generations from now Nintendo drops out of hardware like Sega) but it just came to mind after seeing that pic. I'm still interested in seeing what's done with the actual game on the Wii. It was just an interesting thought... imagining it on done in a darker way perhaps. Just calling it Icarus maybe.
I never thought it was funny, though I'll admit I find the clip amusing in some way. I do think the attention it got is ridiculous though. There's way better stuff on youtube in my opinion.

Perhaps it could also mean something like... there's beauty within the big package that is Playstation 3? Or maybe it's meant to respresent the brand as something 'cool' for all types of people. Sony's way of saying it's not JUST for your typical hardcore gamer.

Wow, that was actually pretty neat! Definitely some clever and unique marketing going on there. I'd love to see something similiar done with a horror game, like Dead Space. It would be awesome if towards the end of the video a creature rips through the page and lashes out at you. A ton of folks would probably wet themselves if done right.

I don't even care if they criticize the PS3 really. I enjoy my PS3 and I know what it does for me. Same goes for my 360. But man does Gameplayer ever come across as hit-hungry! Seems like every week they've got some article targeting a console and they usually run it with some title that's sure to stir people up. I'm not gonna say that they NEVER have valid reasons... but they sensationalize everything they do!
I don't really understand how the PS3's firmware updates can be 'stressful'. You don't even HAVE to download them right away or at all. Of course you'll want to because as LinuxGuru pointed out... it often serves to add functionality. And really they've never taken that long for me.

This game looks so sweeeeeeet! I go back and forth with which games I'm most looking forward to in 2009, but again and again this game keeps coming back up in my mind. I've watched so many videos and yet I haven't gotten tired of seeing this game yet. My hype is pretty much through the roof for this one! I kinda feel the fighting genre has been lacking in recent years but we're finally starting to see alot of really quality fighters surface and I believe the genre could be on a comeback!
