I think that death streaks of some form are a good idea. It makes at least as much sense to give a player that is struggling a helping hand than it does to give someone who is already doing well an extra helping hand.
However, I think the death streak should be in the form of an extra perk rather than what is essentially a specialised kill streak.
Console players would get smashed by PC players thats why.
Should PS3 games not look significantly better than 360 games? It cost more than a 360 at release, and came a year later. If you go by the rule that tech doubles in power per dollar every 2 years, the PS3 should be about 50% more powerful than the 360, yet it clearly isn't.
People always seem to chant the mantra 'graphics don't make a game!', yet your 5 agrees suggest alot of people feel differently. Oh wait, Call of Duty has to operate under different rules than all other games, how could I forget...
Has anyone else noticed how all the shooters starting with 'B' that have come out this year were hyped pre-release yet got at best mixed reviews? Bulletstorm, Brink and Bodycount, all mediocre. Wonder if Battlefield will break that streak...
Have you ever looked at laptops? Tey are hideously expensive compared to desktops, plus you cant (easily) build them yourself and save money that way.
Is this a UE3 game? In last years Medal of honor campaign which used UE3, I would get frequent frame stutter and almost frame pause throughout. Had a similar issue wit Batman AA as well (both games running on PC using UE3)
Yeah no wifi is the thing that makes this both worse for older teens (no porn, Facebook etc), but better for younger teens (no porn).
yeah because Crytek would announce that /s
Crytek have nothing do with Far Cry anymore, they sold the IP to Ubisoft after thr first game.
It's actually quite ironic that all the CoD haters point out how its the same game year after year when they all use exactly the same lines every day year after year...
I'm not saying they did, I don't know how you got that impression from my reply.
Also the price cut was 'only' $150, from $499.95 to $349.95. However, most retailers here are selling at below RRP by $50, bring the price for the 160GB system to around $299. Most retailers had been selling the PS3 for $469 or lower, I even saw as low as $418 pre price cut in any case, so it still can't really be looked at as a $200 drop.
The UK is technically a single country, and they have historically and continue to buy more Xbox 360's than PS3's. So, there you go.

I don't know whether your living under a rock, but Crysis was rated in South Korea for Xbox 360 and PS3 not long ago. Why would they rate it if they didn't plan on releasing it for those consoles?
I'm sure Bobby Kotick is going to cry himself to sleep tonight if one of his staffers shows him your comment...
I am not demanding that Valve do not take a cut from purchases made through Steam, I am simply pointing out that in the long term, from a rival publisher/producers perspective it does not make sense to have your game on Steam as you are not only losing profit from the cut Steam are taking, but you are proping up a rival, as Valve themselves make and publish games.
If you look at the current market, retailers like Gamestop etc are not competing with publishers/producers becau...
Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli said at gamescom this year that they would be announcing something in the next 3 or 4 weeks (so now the next 2 weeks). Stay tuned, it is likely either TS4 or Crysis on consoles.
What does a hype train have to do with it? Do you my watch tv? Stations advertise theyre own shows all the time, and this is exactly the same because guess who owns nowgamer? The people who own Play magazine.
I agree that the PS3 is more powerful than 360, this seems obvious, although Gears 3 certainly 'approaches' KZ3, and Forza 4 at least approches GT5. The point I'm making is that PS3 fanboys harp on about how the PS3 is slightly more powerful than the 360, but it would be pathetic if it wasn't because it is/was more expensive and launched later.
