Why wouldn't it be compared? They are really very similar games.
Also, don't see how BF3 offers more than MW3. They both have a huge MP, Co-Op and a Campaign. It comes down to personal preference surely...
I don't see how that is amazing at all. The developers release the game with object models and textures, then a modder comes along and improves on whats already there.
A larger player base wouldn't have hurt...
Why is it that when they get footage for video reviews they always get someone incompetent to play? Perhaps it was the reviewer playing, which would explain his problem with the 'unfair AI', which I never had an issue with on PC.
I don't see how its fair for anybody to be higher than level 1 before the game releases to be honest...
It would be a pretty harsh critic to knock off marks for a trophy related bug, but it is indeed an awesome game deserved of a 9/10 even today 4 years after its original release.
Remember that Crysis Warhead was also rated for consoles at the same time as Crysis was, so I wouldnt be surprised if Crytek were now finishing off the port of Warhead to consoles and then sometime after that a 'Crysis Collection' will be released on disc.
You guys who talk of Activision milking CoD realise that EA actually did just that to Medal of Honor back in the day? It went to ultra popular to nothing in a couple of years because the just chucked out a rubbish game every year. At least Call of Duty games are actually very good games, even if they arent exactly unique.
Anyway, I've been playing the Beta on PS3 over the last few days for BF3, and jesus that is the biggest mess I've played in a long time. What is th...
It's pretty dissapointing that EA/Dice would ban people simply for playing on one of these hacked servers to be honest. Unless people get an unfair advantage from something, let it be. Apparently the game is 'made for PC', well a major part of PC gaming is having the ability to go further than what the developers supply with mods for example, this is nothing different.
Stop being so literal. He clearly doesnt mean average in terms of what the game achieves/is, he means it is an average quality game. And by the way, it was released on 26 January 2010, don't know how that constitutes being nearly 3 years old.
Subway demo isnt a Beta though, its the actual retail code.
Ever played Crysis/Crysis 2? It doesn't play anything like other FPS's.
Yeah I know what you mean, those main humanoid enenemies with the melee weapons have no tactics what so ever except run towards player. Just because they dodge bullets and can traverse the environment well does not make the AI good when its primary purpose is to attack.
Reminds me more of a hardcore supporter whose team is maybe not going so well who is swearing their head off at the guy who is quietly watching the game just because he goes for the winning team.
You already can play it the way its meant to be played on hardware that does it justice.... It's called buy a gaming PC, which would cost no more than a PS4...
That explains everything, they're obviously pretty stupid...
Battlfield 3 is no doubt a good game, but it isn't revolutionary in any way. Honestly, if Bad Company 2 didn't make a dent in CoD, then BF3 which is essentially the same thing just bumped up a level isn't going to kill anything.
To kill CoD, they have to make something completely fresh. For me the only way I can see them beating CoD is if they go to a future setting with semi Sci-Fi weaponry and a couple of inovative game modes, plus the return of titan mode, to ...
I doubt Doom 4 is going to come to current gen consoles, its just too late in a generation for a relaunch of such a big brand.
PS3 is more or less maxed out already, there will be minor improvements such as from UC2 to UC3, but nothing major. I think in all probabilty if Santa Monica Studio make God of War 4 (which has a sexy ring to it just btw) for PS3 then that will probably be the PS3's peak, just like GOW2 was PS2's peak in terms of graphics. Hard to say though ...
Well, EA said they were going to alternate between Battlfield and Medal of Honor, not DICE.
DICE only worked on Medal of Honor (2010) multiplayer to give Danger Close a helping hand. From now on though Danger Close are the sole developer of the Medal of Honor series (although they are using Frostbite 2). DICE will stick to Battlefield and any other projects of theirs such as Mirror's Edge, and other outsourcing jobs for EA (at one point they were working on terrain design...
Agree with the guy above me.
BF2 had at least one map from 1942, 1943 literally was just remade 1942 maps. BC2 got a bunch of maps added from BC1 and BF3 back to karkand is maps from BF2.
