Well said. I agree.
Sony certainly had some great looking stuff to show, but it felt like ms had the more interesting titles. I'm getting the impression that Sony ONLY cares about how games look. I'm sure far cry (aka boy tomb raider) will be good and uncharted will be fantastic as always, but things like bloodborne we didn't really get to see any actual gameplay stuff, the order looks cool but seems like gears of war in the 1800s. Not a bad thing but not new.
Ms had sunset overdr...
before you guys blow a vessel over these screenshots, keep in mind these aren't realtime gameplay screens. you can most certainly be assured that when actually playing the game it may be very impressive looking, but not THAT impressive.
i felt that both xbox and sony had great shows. sony certainly had some really great looking stuff, but i felt ms had the more interesting titles. theres plenty from both shows to be excited for.
to be honest, i thought sony brought some great looking stuff to the table, but a lot of it was pretty standard affair and boring honestly. I'm excited for uncharted, and the order 1886 i certainly have high hopes for, but I thought ms had more material that felt fresh, and the stuff that wasn't were things that people really wanted to have access to.
said the guy naming himself after... killzone?? yeah...
really :) did a few more this year too.
hehe i did the logo burn in animation graphics at the end.
totally agreed. its graphically beautiful too in a very elegant way.
This article is stupid. For as amazing as the ps4 is, it isn't perfect and if we dump hundred to thousands of dollars into it and it's ecosystem, I think it's completely valid to call attention to its shortcomings. I have to charge my ds4 battery on average twice a week. Compare that to the battery pack on the x1 which I charge maybe once a month. I'm not trying to turn this into a big what's better, but more so just using another controller for comparison. The ds4 is a gr...
They didn't bring all of their "a game" if they are already issuing a new controller with a better battery. That means they recognize the battery sucks in the current controller. So we will have to pay an additional $60 to have an "a game" controller 6 months later.
one sells well, one does not. apparently packing the latter in with the former is a last resort to move some units. no thanks.
what seems to take a while are the actual updates themselves. downloading them once they are finally available seems quick.
simulators need to be 60 fps + arcade racers can be whatever they want because the physics aren't priority,
people need to learn how to distinguish simulator racer from an arcade racer. a sim needs to be a solid 60 fps to have well.. a better simulation. the physics can only update as fast as the frame rate processes. the physics and car models in sims usually take priority over everything else, thats why the visuals are a bit scaled back, less effects etc. you also notice on Forza 5 that it adds 30 fps, motion blur, depth of field etc to the replays because all the physics are baked in from th...
:)
meh. i wouldn't play this game if it were free.
this is the first ps4 game I am genuinely excited for. Uncharted has been such an amazing franchise thus far and I have no doubts ND are gonna kill it with 4.
forza is a racing simulator. horizon is an arcade racer. the latter has more in common with dirt, grid, project gotham etc. original forza is more in line with gran turismo, toca etc
looks pretty darn good.
