businesses stay in business by being competitive. being competitive means you gotta get your edges where you can. if businesses operated by hugs and buddies they wouldn't be around.
this is why i love having both consoles.... no sweat, no tears, no outrage. i say make love, not war.
hey no sh!t. someone makes a snarky, unnecessary comment on n4g...
yessir!
freaking finally. a proper ps4 racing sim... lemme guess tho.. 2015
i never thought i'd say this again about COD but it looks awesome.
thats a bs response and you know it. a picture is a picture and the only way to make the fidelity of a picture better is limited to resolution and color depth. the camera doesn't have to calculate poly's in an environment and actors don't need to be rigged and weighted, combating geometry resolution to produce more lifelike animation and facial fidelity.
video games are far more complex because the worlds you interact with aren't photographed, they are rende...
this article pretty much sums up everything i was saying last week...
i think the thing with "next gen" graphics isn't resolution or fps. its more capability of simulating natural phenomenon...caustics, lighting, ray tracing, reflections, ambient occlusion, better physics that lead to dynamically driven elements, better model rigs, better particles and so on. i like my resolution as high as possible, but its all this other stuff that brings the world closer to reality so if it takes a slight hit on resolution i can forgive it. these render proce...
looks nice. i hope this means there is some form of organization of some sort. game invites seem nice. hope we can finally customize the background... at the very least with some different colors.
how is it misleading? i read the article and didn't feel it misleading at all. at best lots of games are coming to xb1 and at worst only 1 is. either way it seems something valve is coming to xb1.
i would pay more money for it if it supported force feedback on driving wheels... hint hint.
ummm...
i agree that the xbox could be doing better in terms of sales but.... your comment is kind of naive. consoles are expensive not only to launch, but also to develop. look how much money it cost to develop the controller alone. also - margins on console margins are razor thin, if not losing money. it is expected that consoles make a lions share of the money through software and well... there just isn't a lot of great software right now.
granted ...
true... but i feel the last couple gt releases have been disappointing if i'm being completely honest. i still love it, but i'm start to wonder if its just because i'm just used to it at this point.
i have high hopes for gt 7 tho :)
lets hope... although I heard this wasn't full sim either. if thats true i'm going to be double bummed out. still... i'm pretty confident i'll be picking this one up even if its not full sim.
no. they just have standards. i didn't pay an extra 400 to play some indie games i could have played on the ps3. the game selection sucks at worst and mediocre at best. theres nothing must have on the system right now that people should run out and buy a ps4 in my opinion if they already have a 360 or ps3.
I have both the x1 and the ps4. i played the x1 more. then i played the ps4 more. now i play neither and use the x1 to watch tv and run prime/netflix etc.
lets not encourage any more remasters and maybe think about making oh i dunno... new, different games?
"im gonna buy a ps4/xb1 so I can replay the same stuff i just got done playing last year and the years before... but it will be rezzed up a bit so its completely different and worth all that money... again"
"same goes for support for logitech wheels."
lame.
and fanatec?
you really aren't missing much yet. 2015 will be a good year.
thats a really myopic, unthoughtful response.
