what does that say about you as a person?
violent. narrow-minded. probably not a great combination.
looks awesome
that didn't take long. nobody puts baby in the corner....
@highlife:
use your head. the ps4 is a low end pc in terms of its gpu and spec.
do some research and you will see that. pc's can blow the ps4 and x1 out of the water in terms of spec with even a modest upgrade. the only advantage that consoles have over pc's is that they can basically code down to the metal to get maximum performance. it doesn't do magic though.
its not 50%. jesus.
Hahah give me a break. They want each version to be as good as possible and have said as much in other interviews. MS doesn't have the power to gimp. The reality is that the ps4 just simply isn't as powerful as people think it is. It's basically a really low end PC.... Just like the x1 only slightly more powerful
But.... You haven't played it at all.... And everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Wow. Just wow.
I think I'm gonna hide in the safe room til this story blows over. There's no telling how "they" will react with an actual exclusive being judged.
@Dboyc
I know :) I work directly with a lot of major game studios for trailers and in game cinematics
generally speaking they don't count those as layoffs. Those are just considered completed employment contracts. Layoffs usually indicate a downsizing in actual core staff... Including some prod contract employees
n4g strikes again. you can say a simple fact like the sky is blue and get disagrees. i'm convinced at least 1 person follows me around and disagrees with every comment i make for no reason.
regardless - PT gave me chills and I can honestly say a video game has never done that to me before. Bummer you didn't find it scary but it seems at least you found something good about it. Interesting way to reveal a game though for sure, yea?
hmmm. a re-release of an already released game and a bunch of indies. no surprises here.
set eye roll to maximum.
ms could very well build an uncharted style game. they just never did.
as far as tomb raider, they only bought time. not the franchise. the outrage is not only overblown but is totally hypocritical too.
when bungie basically made all their destiny exclusive content stuff, features, promos and demos all about the ps4 (to the point some people didn't even know it was available on x1) and the xbox users asked wtf,...
ha thats actually a good use for that light. most of the time i hate it, but the usage here would be cool.
you and i agree here, friend ;)
use your head. fh2 isn't coming out on anything but xbox one and 360. therefore by the powers of deduction they are referring to only the 360. of course PC's and the ps4 could do it.... you could also try reading the article if logic isn't your thing.
agreed. 60 fps gives that "home movie" appearance. i mean for a video game it looks nice but the movement is very clean (not a bad thing). it probably helps to notice the difference if you have a tv with a fast refresh. older lcd's might blur between frames due to low refresh rates.
Sometimes I don't like 60 fps. Sometimes I like things like motion blur. Video games feel sterile enough already. I don't see why everything has to be in absolutes these days. Politics, opinions and now fps. How about the right frame rate for the job. Racing sims should be 60 fps because of the physics refresh. Arcade racers can be 30 so they look nice and pretty. First person shooters need 60 fps for accuracy and skill. Something like the order 1886 is perfectly acceptable at 30. ...
this seems eerily similar to the launch and lead up to Ryse. and it ended up being a gorgeous, boring game. personally i hope the order is great, but my fear is they spent all their energy on graphics and not on gameplay. i mean if you go back - almost every article about it until recently was how amazing it looked, whats the tech to make it look amazing, more amazing screen shots, graphics graphics graphics... (gameplay).
