Is that SOny has three devices to show support for. Nintendo has two and Microsoft has one. Many folks are busy comparing Sony and MS and trying to figure out who won E3 but forget that many folks out there still use their PS2 or PSP more than a PS3 or Xbox 360. Many folks out there own a DS and have no interest in the consoles.

Looks like a solid rental. With so many games coming out I have to limit my game purchases to games like Uncharted 2 and Modern Warfare 2 but this and others like it will certainly be rentals.
And just because I am one that says Home is not for me does not make home bad or suck. It makes Home what it is, a social network for people that want to enjoy a virtual world. Not for me but noth all that bad either.
4D was introduced back with Motorstorm and 1080p is quite evident by games like Wipeout HD. As for 120 FPS, that has yet to be seen.
There is no need for a silly AAA title slapped onto a game that you might like more than others. As the saying goes, "one man's trash is another man's treasure". As for Uncharted 2, it is my treasure and no matter what people say about it, it will be enjoyed by me many times over.
People who live and breath Metacritic scores need to find a life. I know they serve their purpose but to ignore games based on a score of 89 or less is pathetic.
The controls are exactly as they should be, tough. Todays RE games are for the action minded ammo hog players whereas the old RE games were for those who enjoyed scary, inventory management games with struggling controls. Todays scary games just don't have that old RE flare. Don't get me wrong, Dead SPace and SIREN were and are among my favorite horror games but there is something to be said about RE.

Knowing full well that I would be able top play those titles on my 60gb model, I plunked my money down day one for the PS3. This title is also one of my most anticipated titles for the near future.

But will there be enough to warrant the purchase (as a hardcore gamer) of the peripheral? That is the biggest question I have, what will it cost and will it ever have enough games to warrant my purchasing it?
They need to hold back from announcing these games so early on. Typically they do it to beat their chest in spite of the competition and make no mistake, all companies do this so it's not just MS. I would like them to maintain a routine of only announcing titles within a year or less before release date. That way, they won';t shoot themselves in the foot with a hype train gone wild.
But to be honest, I could care less about some of the obscure, never heard about titles on both of the lists for PS3 and Xbox 360. Sorry, but I have to disagree with that statement. What the PSN lacks in terms of equality to XBL, it makes up for in both price and other features.

You can track Amazon sales on a daily basis and since the PS3 sales spiked heavily right after some key announcements at E3, I suspect that the author is attributing the spike to the said announcements.
I catch where you are coming from now and agree that GT4 was more of the same but as a car enthusiast, it was ok for me. I do have to say though, with GT5 touting such extras as real time damage, NASCAR and Off Road Racing, 800+ cars and 40+ tracks and twelve players on-screen online racing simultaneously, what else could be done to make this game more than just GT4?
