What game has the best story that will compel you to play the game further? The whole gore and action will get you so far but that gets boring. Is the story any good? That is the question here.
Wow, N4G has seen some weird things but this might just take the cookie... Maybe.
As for the game, I hear that there is tons of blood, no decent textures on the buildings and a story about as shallow as a puddle. Is this true? If so then it is a rental at best.
I look forward to how they present this tech and how much it will cost. I am not one to play motion games much and have few that require me to get out of my chair on the Wii but my kids would love this.

I can't believe that somebody would post this. Must not read what they post 'cause I have never heard of a company willing to create two versions of the game then release one as a timed exclusive without any kind of compensation.
I have to say, this game will be fun but with all the great new games coming out for all three systems, I find it hard to believe I will have time enough to play this one at all.
You might think to say that but with the work it takes to model a car in the PSP version compared tot he PS3 version, it would not surprise me to see they only have the same amount of cars. Am I correct in saying that the PSP and PS3 versions will be compatible and that what cars you have in your garage on your PSP will be transferable to the PS3 version? If that be the case then it would not surprise me to see that they have the same number of cars with a few slight different ones.

This boycott is justified. TO be told that there will be much DLC released for the game and then see next to nothing prior to the announcement of the next release is tough to take. Also, seeing as how the game engine is only being mildly improved for the second release is tough to take as well. When you see or hear of no graphical upgrade you wonder why it did not just get released like Wars did for Crysis, an inexpensive expansion pack rather than a full retail title.

It was Forza fans showing their distaste in a community manager that bribes folks and makes an arse of themselves to get attention. Not once did you ever hear Polyphony Digital come out and try to defend their racer or talk smack, because they know what they have and how successful it has been over the years. Why Turn 10 decided to go down this road is beyond me. I had all respect for their game but have to admit, I lost a little just because of that idiot that talked smack way too much latel...

Interesting quote considering that nearly every third person shooter released in the last 4 years has been compared to Gears in nearly every review... Every FPS has been compared to Halo in nearly every review... At one time, nearly every open world sandbox game was compared to GTA4 but now, inFAMOUS is the bar that has been set and sadly enough, many reviewers don't feel that Prototype reaches that bar.
To put it plainly, it is a developer/publisher issue. FOr any fanboy to mock a console for this issue is simply stupid. This has nothing to do with BD or HDD speeds, it has everything to do with a lack in quality control at a gaming company. Sorry, but no matter the game engine, there are too many titles out there that have not ran into this issue so to make excuses for it is pathetic.

This install issue is not a Sony problem but a publisher/developer issue. If ND can make a game like Uncharted run on the PS3 and be one of the best looking console games of all time and have no install then your theory of HDD speeds and BD speeds is tossed out the door.

I find that no matter how much logic you throw at folks like Turn 10 that continually mock others for great games there is rarely any difference made.
I wish the devs at Turn 10 would quit with the smack talk for the sake of being more adult like. It's getting bad these days.
Those shots look amazing. I too am in the same boat and cannot wait to play this title.
knowing how Turn 10 has been lately and how they have trash talked a bit too much, I think it is safe to say that they have gone just a tad too far. This was just plain wrong and they know it. Too bad CNET didn't get wind of it and close the poll and scold Turn 10 for their devious actions.
