Look, I have not posted as much as some but from what I see, the word idiot and moron come out of the posts of the Xbox fans more than the Sony guys. It would definitely be inFAMOUS. I did not like the story of Prototype and Assassins Creed was a bit more repetitive than inFAMOUS. In the end, AC and inFAMOUS are good games while Prototype is just not my bag.
This is my most anticipated title for this year. I played the first one through 6 times now and cannot get enough of it. Can't wait for the new one.
Why is that? For those disappointed because it is not single player only, why would you be upset? You have not even played FFXIII yet so naturally, the next FF being online should be no bother. Were people bummed out that they just did not show enough of it? I thought it looked pretty good and wonder why this would be a disappointment.
They're just stupid from time to time. Of course, they have never made the mistake of showing poor footage for a 360 game like they have for the PS3 so you can imagine why the fanboys call them out. I say it's just Gametrailers being dumb when they post the wrong footage for the PS3 games.
I still can't help but feel disappointed that they have changed Sam Fisher so much over the years. I loved the original games and still like the look of this one but it just doesn't feel like Splinter Cell to me.

I took the "in 2009" comment to be more sarcasm towards MS's news release. More of a tongue in cheek comment that Sony won't make the consumers wait until next year or for the next console to be released but rather that Sony has the tech already in their current console and can release it any time if they so choose to do so.

From my take on it, two of the biggest fanboy groups are simply using the new motion tech as another reason to argue whose console is better. Let the fanboys argue it out for the next year and when the tech is released, the public casual audience will decide what system is better. I suspect that these two new controllers won't stop the Wii from outselling everything else on the market...

This does not prove that one console is more powerful than the other, what it does do however is two things...
1) it shows that some devs work well with the 360 over the PS3 and...
2) that fanboys will reach very far when trying to find an excuse to look stupid on the interwebs.

The theory of Gears 3 coming out on the next-box is an interesting one but to run the game on an engine that has never seen any game time and is not as proven as the UE3 might not bode well for the last game in that series. I kind of hope they end the series using the same engine just to maintain the cohesion between each title.
For now, but it looks like it will be a pay to play game that yields points to spend on Live. I wonder if they will give Gold Members a discount.
But I like to go shooting. You can waste several hours just running ammo through my M&P 15 or my 1911. Maybe I'll practice more with my LCP or XD(m).
Speculate the worste and hope for the best. In the end, very few games will remain exclusive this gen.
