Many other games are good in comparison but in the end, GT5 will make all others pale in comparison.
IMHO
Guerilla Games helped give Bungie a swift kick in the pants when it comes to getting their act together. Bungie has always had great game play but they needed to make a jump in graphics that they just ignored in Halo 3. Now they have their ducks in a row and finally, Halo will be what we want it to be. Kudos for Bungie admitting they needed to get it together and get their graphics on par with Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2.
"Why don't fanboys shut the fcuk up about the XBox 360 "gimping" Final Fantasy XIII's development!?! Mass Effect 2 has more content, looks better and doesn't need 3 fcuking discs. Let's face facts..."
Yes, let's face the facts. Starting with the question of, how do you know that ME2 has more to it than FFXII? I am in no way defending the game but have to ask, how do you come to the conclusion of the comment you made?
I would not go as far as to say that Infinity Ward sold us a beta since a beta is never a tangible product but a test of what is to come. I do however would agree that they passed up the beta knowing they would have a fanbase that would purchase the game and play it online while they finished the game with patches.
Many of those who have given up on MW2 are those that move from online game to online game and more than likely did not play COD4 for two years straight. I for one p...
It's about time we get to see some deeper gameplay for the Arc. It will be cool to put some games in mind when considering this tech. Hope they have some cool stuff to show.
I played Killzone 2 and it had glitches. Was the beta supposed to get rid of those?
It is my recollection that all games online have glitches. It's impossible for a developer to rid a game of all glitches no matter if they hold a beta or not. The best way to get rid of glitches is to have the community notify the dev of them and the dev reacts with a patch.
That seems to me to be the way IW is going here, isn't it?
On what console? Is there still plenty of games available? I love COD4 and was thinking about playing it from time to time but have not taking the time to load it up recently.
And then they complain about IW trying to fix the glitches. What will it take for people to stop hating the game and start playing the game? Just asking.
6 is below average?
The problem I see is too many folks try and compare the video game review scores to academic scores. Sure 60% is below average and in some cases nearly failing. But in academics you don't have a 1 out of 10 scale. With thats aid, I would assume that 5 is average and 4 is below average.
Sony is trying to play catch up. The console with a browser from day one that allows you to access your MySpace page and offers it for free is definitely playing catch up...
Good god it feels like the media would believe that MS invented all that is gaming and entertainment with how much they write about how all the new content and periferals to the 360 from MS are ultra revolutionary and that have never been done by anybody else...
I would not put it past them to run the update tonight. They have done updates on odd nights outside of Thursday before so maybe. As for the update, the improved browser is something I look forward to. I use the browser a lot and any improvement would be greatly appreciated.
There will not be an up-tick in Sony sales due to this banning. Sony people buy the PS3 because it's the console they have been wanting and could care less about the 360 and those who modded their Xbox will run back to the 360 like a dog back to his own vomit. If these guys were smart they would buy the PS3 and play great games but they were modders of the 360 community and as for smart people, modders are not.
Yes, it does say much for a company when they will go the extra mile and release a game that is the lesser of it's counterparts plagued with long load times and horrible screen tearing. It's good to see Sega going the extra mile!!!
Pathetic devs and their lazy ports.
Developers so too often release games that are not finished and then patch them day one. I for one could care less as long as the game works but the backlash that Infinity Ward got over MW2 patches the first week was insane. I guess for everybody else it's ok???
As with anything, you get what you pay for... Oh wait! That's what they say for PSN...
Hopefully the extra features aren't something just for Gold members... Oh wait!
It's understandable why anybody would not want to be part of Sony's numbers when it comes to their failure rate. From my calculations though there are about 18 million folks who bought a 360 that became part of the Xbox 360 failure rate numbers. Now that is a huge number when compared to Sony's 3 million users or so. It always hurts when it is you that is effected, I should know, I have been through 5 Xbox 360's.
For as long as MS keeps shipping defunct consoles. Heck, you can still buy a 360 and have it die on you in a matter of months. Until they come clean and admit they did the consumers wrong and fix the console completely, you will see this kind of article. Maybe the next time MS won't be in such a rush to beat Sony to the market that they can spend the needed time for R&D and do it right and keep from disappointing the consumers again.
I think I will take the lesser of two evils.
It will be one less talking point for the Xbox folks here.
I agree. There are some great looking games on the 360 though not as good looking as Killzone 2 or Uncharted 2 they have some great looking titles. Heck, even if they were to match Batman: AA or Dead Space when it comes to the next Halo they would be making vast improvements in their games look.
I know that Halo Reach won't hit the graphical quality of Killzone 2 but it will come closer than Halo 3.
