Sure it was 10 bucks per map pack but to have as many as they did was far better than how IW supported COD4. I would like to see them drop at least three map packs regardless of some extra single players stuff. Maybe some more spec ops modes but heck, just give us another dozen maps and include some remakes of the COD4 maps that were most famous.
It's just nice to see that they have all the bugs worked out in a matter of a single week. Kudos to IW for working hard to make it all right, right away.

MS is known for ripping the consumers off for their peripherals, can you expect anything less from a company willing to sell you a console that breaks all the time? I didn't think so.
They praised the 360 for years when they were selling more than the twice as high priced PS3 and now that the PS3 is decimating the 360 worldwide the media has to find some negative point to spin. They just can't keep the PS3 down and they try so hard it makes them all look so bad. Poor journalists, can't seem to fall in love with the PS3 yet... Maybe soon. No matter, the PS3 is beast and their crack journalism won't keep it down.
Found the game to be more of the original. Not that it was bad it just was not for me. Too bland if you ask me. The more weapons are appreciated but in the end it's just hord after hord of dead folks and more of the same shoot until the hord is gone... Not for me.
How many of us have played "mediocre" games only to find they were some of our favorites? How many have been burned by great review scores only to find the game to be mediocre? Review scores are bought and paid for and are nothing more than a sham. The game is all that matters and that is why if you can, rent them and try them yourselves.

Will that help erase the years of poor hardware and the reputation that MS has for a defunct console? I don't think so. Everybody knows about the RROD and so many folks will spend the extra bucks to get a reliable console since they do not want to keep having to exchange or have their console repaired. MS shot themselves in the foot with the RROD and the sales these days are showing it.
But that is just my opinion. I play the multiplayer so much that my thumbs are sore!

PSN is free and it allows me to play games online with my friends. That is all the value I need and want so Live is completely behind the 8 ball and should be free if they truly want to be considered in competition with Sony.
