Single player is ok and almost Michael Bay movie over the top but the MP is simply addictive and awesome. Great title for this year.
Do you really think that the number of people on the planet has greatly effected the difference in sales in todays Videogame markets? Do you really think that? When you break down the percentages, it really isn't all that much of a difference between now and ten years ago. We have expanded from 5 and some odd billion to six and some odd billion. A 5th more than last decade.
So we know we have a billion more folks today than we did in 1999 and the primary growth regions for this...
It will definitely drop one of the talking points that the Xbox fanboys have. I guess at this time the best part of this actually happening is to shut more Xbox Fanboys up. One can dream right?
At least this shows that there are some developers out there that are truthful. Sure the Xbox might have good games but it is ugly and it is loud. The truth hurts.

I think it's more about the consumer for Sony than about copying MS. If Sony was trying to copy MS they would have gone with DVD, no WiFi, overpriced peripherals and a console that had a failure rate that was above the industry norm. It's good to see Sony competing with MS since we all know competition makes for better consumer products.
This game offers way more variety than COD4 and offers the same visceral gameplay as COD4 with new maps and features. It's more of the game I love and wonder if any of these comments come from folks that actually played COD4 in MP to the tenth prestige... If not then I can safely say that Modern Warfare 2 is a game made for the true fans of COD4 and will appeal to a crowd that gave that game days worth of game play time. Heck, I think I hit nearly 40 days of time spent in-game on COD4.
And now that the cat is out of the bag and we all know that GamesThirst is a bunch of 360 fanboys I can safely say I will no longer click on their site. Thanks for saving me the time from now on.

It comes from the number of titles they released that absolutely sucked arse prior to World at War. World at War was their first decent title and that is primarily due to them getting MP right and adding Zombies. They did something right this time and hopefully they keep it up.
And as for the version that is the best... I will play it on PS3 since that is the one system I have that doesn't die on me every few months.
This is a great update for those of us that hated the friends list and wanted a Face Book link on the PS3. It's nice to see how you can access FB ont he browser that they improved just for this and have your profile update trophies. The photo ap improvement is huge too! This is all free and for PS3 fans to enjoy so I say kudos to Sony for doing what they do best, offer the consumer a great product and for a great price.
You got all that from that little sentence? Sorry, but you're wrong. I simply stated a fact that this game is selling like hotcakes and said nothing about me being a gamer who only buys games that sell. Nice try though...
Yeah, and I might have become a better ball player if I only spent more time competing with myself. Sorry, but this is one of the worst ideas ever. Corporations do not get better by competing with their own inner companies and should never consider that healthy growth in innovation to do so.
If the host quits or he/she lags out. In other words, if the host is no longer available to host then the game migrates the hosting to another player with the best connection. I have continued through many matches after the host migration process so it works for me. Not sure about everybody else but I can speak for my own experiences.
Don't let them fool you bud. They all own the game and are playing it regularly. They talk the talk but when it comes to balls to bones, they don't walk the walk. Each of the haters here bought the game and love it, it just is cool right now to hate on Modern Warfare 2. The sales are too high for the haters to deny buying it. lol
As for the game, anybody that says they beat the game in under 4 hours is lying or they have it set to the easiest setting. Try playing it at a diffic...
Then you get lucky and find little lag. However, if you have anybody as the host with a poor NAT then you end up with lag. Typically the game swaps out the host though in a match or two and then the lobby can be smooth sailing for a while.
Both versions of the game are P2P so lag is not escaping either copy. I play the PS3 version and have had a few matches where it lagged but the host migration cleared that up and the game continued right along. No biggie.
Let me point out that this is a CNET poll, a poll comprising of one of the largest MS and 360 fanbases on the planet. If you Xbox fans can't trust CNET then who can you trust...
