HHG informed his fans that the new game coming is in fact, Syphon Filter. Not sure about you but I know HHG to be a bit off of his rocker from time to time but he is not typically prone to lie. If he says it, I am tempted to believe it.

I would have to agree, and hope that this is what it is. I love Syphon Filter and after having played the PSP games, I want so much more from this series.
The lighting is ok, nothing revolutionary and the graphics are nice but in no way is this game what it should have been. I wish they could have kept it open world and maintained the graphics we see here today.

It is evident that they should have just kept it exclusive to the PS3. Square has really lost the faith of millions of their fans and this only shows that loyalty to the fans is sold to the highest bidder. Too bad too, I was really looking forward to the next FF being amazing but I think we know now that it is a game sold to appease the general populous and not the true fans of the series.
Let me guess, you think that final nail in the coffin will be when BF: BC2 is released? Yeah, dream on bud. This game is not going anywhere and will be played for well over two more years. Even COD4 had major hacks and is still being played so why not wish for more fixes and just play the game instead of hating on it. The hate around here is getting old.

So what's the problem? I have been on N4G for some time now and have seen many websites give unfair comparison shots of the PS3 when it came to multiplatform games and now that the tables are turned, you seem to have a problem with this? Sure, go ahead and be a hypocrite.
But on the PSn you can play ALL games online for free...
A solid Xbox fanboy appreciate a PS3 title. Especially one that is completely different from all other games currently out right now. I know the 360 fans typically love the PFS/TPS games that offer more action and what not but it's refreshing to see a fanboy appreciate this title.
