When you have only a short time to live, you want a console that is reliable. Nobody wants to waste their last hours waiting for their console to get back from repairs. Good choice.
This is great news considering that the console released a year after the 360 and has put the PS3 at a fictional third place. Given the time frame, the PS3 has sold very well and the slim has given the PS brand a big boost in sales. With current stock shortages, the PS3 is showing what it can do when sold at the 299 price tag but we can only imagine what this console will be doing when it is even cheaper.

Sorry, but I would rather play a game with some eye candy than one containing ugly chicks. Coding ugly chicks for the sake of making the game more "real" is just plain pathetic. This article is just plain dumb IMHO.
If they can show me some hardcore gaming with the Arc then by all means, it will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine. But if they go the way of Nintendo and only cater to the casual with this then I will pass. I already have a Wii for that and would like to see some cool games for daddy to play.
But to tell you the truth, if it comes up short in the hardcore gaming genres then it won't ever grace my entertainment center. I have a Wii for the kids and don't want to repeat the waggle for no reason. Same goes for the Sony Arc.
When a game looks this good and requires no instal it just proves that when other games of lesser quality require the install, it was a lazy dev that knows little about the power of the PS3. I am not saying the PS3 is god but it does not need the installs that so many third party devs seem to think it does.
When it comes to games looking better on one system or the other but in the end it all comes down to this, what system do you own, and if you own both, get the best version period.
It's a shame too. They used to be one of my all time favorite developers and then they started with this crap. After RE5, they just took a nose dive into la-la land.

Several had been developing GT for the PSP while others were in charge of putting GT5 Prologue together. The entire team was not specifically working on GT5. As for Remedy, they have 45 employees at the moment.
It's because there are far more people waiting in anticipation of GT5 than Alan Wake. It's not a fanboy thing to say, it's the fact that GT is a billion dollar franchise and the fanbase is huge!

I am not a fan of war games that date back before modern tech, it's just a personal preference since I was in the military and prefer to work with the weapons I was trained on. This will be ok but returning from the range after shooting my AR15 equipped with an Aimpoint makes these dated sights and such seem blah.

Easily getting the great scores it deserves. It's nice to see some reviewers are getting it and seeing how this game is a fresh new take on games.
This game is shaping up to have mass appeal for those who love mature stories and great game play. Something different, something new to this gen and that is just the tip of the iceberg.

I have spent countless hours playing BF2 on the PC and would love to see this one bring me back to online gaming for the PC as such. BF2 was the one game that tore me from DOD so hopefully this will be as good.
