I think you are right. Nothing against you but I hate having to pay for more stuff when they already charge for Live. IMHO the new Windows 7 Phone will be so overshadowed by anything Apple does that it will make little headway and take very little market share. Android and Apple pretty much have the market to themselves.
I doubt it will set a new standard. IMHO it will be aone off for some other obscure games in the future to take from. In the end it will be average if it tries to fly on one note.

originally that the reason for the shift in game size and style was due to the atmosphere. They wanted to keep it scary and they had a hard time with that in an open world setting. They made the game more linear to alow for timed and triggered sequences that are meant to scare you where they were unable to do so in an open world game. I suspect that DVD limitations had some effect on the decision but it would seem they may never really say that.
This game is pure unadulterated fun and should be played by all. If you can sport the cash, get it, it is a blast and you won't regret it.
Like who? Rare? Can you name me a few of these first party devs under MS's roof that support your claims? It is not a fanboy way to say that Sony has the biggest group of first party and "second" party devs to make games for the PS3 but to say that MS has anything to talk about seems a little fishy to me. Heck, I would venture to guess that Nintendo has more first party people working for them than MS does.

Had it on the 360 and never used it. If they charge for it on the PS3 I will never buy it. It's just not a feature I want or care about. Talking to other friends while playing a different game is just silly to me.
