The PS3 version is the better looking version so it's the one people should buy if they have both consoles. It's the same way for games that look better on the 360. You buy the best version if you own both consoles. If you own one console then you buy that copy. Plain and simple.
Actually, GI said that when they get their copy of the 360 version they would play it through and adjust the score if needed but until then, the readers should know that the score is for the PS3 version only. Their score does not pertain to the 360 version until they confirm it does. Basically the other way around from what you said but I would not have expected any different...
Hey, Enter the Gecko was hilarious.
This game is definitive. Pure, plain and simple.
Take a look here:

You see these companies that make actual gaming console knock offs and then call them something very close to the real deal. Would you call that a disgrace? Should they be sued? I say so and if you do too then a game that resembles another product and even goes as far as simply using the same name with a single word difference is a knock...
The Tomb Raider games lost all savor to me. It would be nice if they made the necessary improvements in the game mechanics and story but it is Lara Croft and they seem to be stuck in the same old rut of emphasizing the mammary glands more than a good game over all.
The credibility of Metacritic falls down by them letting scores like this derived from poorly written articles onto the site and added to the average. They should be more critical of the sites they let into Meta as it represents the quality of the overall score. It's too bad Meta does not take the scores any more seriously than the 14 year old boys writing the poor reviews.
I remember when I was unable to use my Zune for a full day due to a clock issue. It was down for exactly 24 hours and the poof, back up and running as if nothing happened. This is a programming issue and is easily resolved so the idea that Sony controls your PS3 from some place in the mid-atlantic by a shady character behind the huge curtain is obviously silly.
Then enlighten me as to why it is on N4G? Oh yeah, it is a Sony hate article so the fanboys had to approve...
They have secured the next ZOE?
Yeah, figures. It's only the best looking, most fun game to release this year and will more than likely garner the same scores from a plethora of other sites.
"This is the only time I've ever disagreed with Jaffe. Just because 2 games have the word 'metal' in the title doesn't mean they're copying off each other and somebody should sue."
I think they should sue and here is why. It is a car-combat game where you race around and attempt to destroy the competitors car with various vehicles and weaponry. Sounds like a "Twisted Metal" clone if I ever heard of one and is also going to be called "Scrap Metal". ...
So it could be Killzone 3 or inFAMOUS 2. My guess is that it will be a sequel to an already ongoing story so Resistance 3 or the 2 aforementioned games could be the best guesses.
But since we are talking about the PS3, just pick up Uncharted 2 along with GOWIII when buying the PS3 and call it all good.
I would never buy a Final Fantasy on the 360. If it were Nintendo or PS then yeah, but never on the 360. I have only known FF to be on the nintendo or PS platforms and it would just feel wrong to play it on the 360. Besides, from the sounds of it, the PS3 version is the version to won if you have both consoles like me so there is no issue here.
P to the athetic.
Great post there bud. Bubbles to you for your well thought out post and the information you presented. This is truly amazing to think that the PS3 is capable of 16X MSAA. It was just a couple years ago when the nay sayers said AA could never be done on the PS3 and now look at the possibilities. Great post!
You're right, I forgot about the small changes made with the H3 beta and the actual retail product. If this is the case then I am a bit disappointed.
They did this for you, the consumer so that you could have the most quality laden console on the market that provides you with HD content, free online play and a plethora of great games and options. So to lose interest in them at this point seems like folly on the authors part.
Edge is upset that Square did not use the 360 as the lead platform for this title. I suspect that if Square would have made the 360 version better we would see two reviews from Edge. One vilifying the PS3 version and the other glorifying the 360 version. People need to know that there are conspiracy theories about sites hating on PS3 games but then there is Edge. Edge is shamefully fanboyish and it can be proven so. They are just mad because the PS3 version is the superior version here and th...
