This is great news if true, because it wont be system implemented. Much like the online pass thing we currently have.
Meaning you. Yes you reading this should NOT buy those games requiring activation. Because then they will stop doing it all together and everyone wins :)
Press Kit I'm guessing.
I have the 'Joel Edition' pre-ordered. Cant wait for this!
Yeh awesome sales for less than 1 week in Japan!
Definitely picking this up for my Vita then. Origins was awesome on it.
Agreed. And I also think the drastic sales loss in those games (EA I'm looking at you) would cause them to think again. You know that they would go back to an online pass scenario because well they are greedy bastards :)
And if Sony and MS both go this route, well looks like Wii U may actually have a new customer :D
You see i wouldn't mind if the platforms allowed Publishers to do this off their own backs. Because then its up to me as a consumer to choose not to touch those products with a barge pole.
When its built into the system itself. That is where the problem arises. Because it takes MY choice away, and anything which limits what I can do is always a deal breaker.
Lets be real here, all these CEO's know as much about games as the local used car salesmen. Honestly there is no difference, just one lucked out.
That is such an awesome concept! After watching Robotics;Notes AR kind of scares me :/
If both companies do this, it will be the end of the gaming industry as it is now.
You see used games price, is the actual value of that game. New games are automatically set at a price point say $60. Consumer's did not decide this, but they do decide the used game price based on supply and demand. Hence why shit games become worthless quickly, or good obscure games keep their value.
The system Microsoft is proposing distorts the whole market. And by dist...
Vita already has the same feature, so obviously it will be a standard in all future products.
Such an interesting concept. Hope the game play can really do it justice!
Pretty basic, but looks like one of those nice calming games. Until you get a killing spree with your kite that is :D
Ken is such a fan boy :D Refusing to believe anything which has been confirmed lol
Good show though!
It was a PS2 exclusive. This HD has never come out in the West. Which is annoying
Wish they would release these type of games on the store.
Does look like a very interesting concept. Whatever it's on I look forward to more info!
Yeh at the time of the game's release. I had no idea this collectors edition was released. Until if was perusing through games at a shop one day and came across it.
Why they are releasing this instead of concentrating on actually bringing this to the West on PS3 boggles my mind.
The Yakuza series whole fanbase is located on PS2/PS3. And we have been clamoring since its announcement that we want 1/2 HD and 5 to come West. But nope, SEGA in their infinite wisdom decide to waste money porting it to an entirely different console?
Just crazy, who is making these stupid business decisions. :/
Yeh i want both Yakuza 5 and the HD collection to release here. And the longer we here nothing the more likely we will never see it. As there will be even less chance as PS4 nears release.
Honestly I don't care. Far too much of a drama queen.
