If you have the choice always buy the physical product. The only games i ever buy digitally are those that never get released as physical. You have infinitely more control of your physical goods than something tied to a closed system which might just disappear one day.
No it works out in the exchange that they are selling it for the same price they are in the West. Was just that before it cost even more for a Vita than it did in Europe and US
But on topic, great to hear some positive sales news. The little system is great and deserves it.
If some of these games came subtitles I'd happily import them. I believe select games released in China do, is that correct?
So here is hoping for a western release!
Yep the whole point of things like the Unreal Engine, Unity etc is that it makes everything easier. But the cost is never in tech, that's the thing the cost is always in labour. Paying hundreds of wages for the complete dev cycle is the cost of a game.
If you are selling a million copies of a game and not making a profit there is something fundamentally wrong with the cost in producing your game and you need to figure out how to reduce that cost.
I haven't played it yet, but definitely gonna buy it at some point for my Vita. But it selling more on Vita than any other platform actually doesn't surprise me given the correlation to other titles on the network.
The game attach rate is really high, i think its because actual Vita user's tend to be hardcore Playstation owners whom regular download games etc.
I mean just checking local people on Near pretty much everyone you find has games you ca...
They make all the Naruto games too :) constantly dishing those out!
Hopefully they put it on PS Mobile too. So i can play it on my vita :D
Well it could all be hype, yeh cole is dead etc then there is a big reveal at the end of this game alluding to Cole being alive. Things like that they like to keep hidden and excite the fans who play the game.
Just got an email from Amazon about it;
"Discover the Sony PlayStation 4 console now.
As the first in the next generation of consoles, the PS4 features high-end specs such as PC-style architecture, X86 CPU, 8GB of unified memory and HDD local storage.
With glorious visuals and a number of incredible launch titles announced, including Diablo III, Knack and Destiny, make sure to sign up to find out more about PlayStation 4."
...
They dont need to, as PS3 shows, games aren't aimed at the highest tech avail and then brought down for others. It is the opposite, they are aimed at xbox/ps3 then added to for PC. So games will never be aimed at high end pc's and we wont see how capable they are.
Thus PS4/720 will look good in comparison
Seems to take elements of things like Dust 514, Resistance, Halo and Borderlands.
lol the DmC hate is strong in this one :D
@MacDonagh The 10k im referring to is how many people 'signed' a petition. Which is basically the Wii U owners who want Rayman. And it's a lot easier to sign a petition than it is to fork over actual money for a game. It needs a couple of hundred thousand unit sales on the Wii U to even start to get any kind of development money back. And other titles right now on the Wii U aren't showing anything like that.
Where as we know just as with origins (which also re...
Shame DmC isn't doing better, its actually a really good game (as game critics have shown).
And I'm a proud owner of Ni No Kuni wizard edition in the UK deserves all the sales it get's.
Let's be honest here the people who will buy Rayman will buy it regardless of GTA releasing (looking like 10k wii u owners) so not even enough to pay for the food bill whilst developing the game.
It's sales bulk will come from PS3 and Xbox owners. Few hundred thousand at least. And a few hundred thousand at $60 or £35-£39 here in UK is much better than what they would have to charge for it, if they released the Wii U one now.
Sucks for Wii U...
Well look at it from SEGA's point of view. They paid a developer millions to make a game. That developer use that money to fund their own game and issue that contracted job out to other developers. Smells like a law suit to me.
Yes i know he makes his living by spouting a load of nonsense. But what you just said is again nothing but correlation something the 'business' world is full of.
The reason people are buying less shit is because they have less money, every industry is suffering not just gaming. The reason why its light outside is because of the sun, not because your next door neighbour had a baby.
Correlation not causation. These business insiders couldn't predict...
He says game sales have declined since 2008 and attributes this to multiplayer (because you know multiplayer wasn't invented till 2008 apparently). No it wasn't that worldwide economic depressions that we are still in, that obviously has nothing to do with it :p
What Michael Pachter uses is known as correlation nothing to do with causation and not founded in logic. Again he show's he doesn't know what hes talking about and why he gets paid by anyone is a myste...
Wish they would hurry up and bring out Netflix on Vita too. U.S. has had it since launch :/
Please fix link, i want to read the actual story.
