This game is by far a bigger achievement than your opinion. I promise, your opinion is tired and boring, and doesn't achieve much, but the game is a lot of fun and it achieves a lot.
Perfect way to cap the gen.
Yes, I know Ghost is still on the way, but I don't think it can top this. Not for me, anyway.
This game has been one amazing journey for me so far, and I'm looking forward to another playthrough and grabbing that sweet platinum.
Why is the line ignorant? Rhetorical. I know why it's ignorant - because you don't like the message. Simple as that. Your political views don't align with the developer, so it's ignorant and childish.
If someone is a bigot, they're a bigot. I think that in this specific context, the character in question was bigoted. He used a certain term against a certain character that was critical of her orientation. Not sure what prompted his ire, but it was a cheap...
Honestly, I have no problem with your opinions on the game. I have no problem with anyone's opinion. I do have a problem with the people who purposely tried to spoil the game for others who had no problem with anything.
I think a terrible precedent has been set here; dissenters are complaining about cancel culture, but they themselves tried their hardest to cancel the work of a developer simply because they disagreed with their politics and views. That's garbage.
...
That's so disingenuous.
Your first statement is just a dumb, blanket generalization, and the second is purely hypocritical. It's like you're trying to make 'journalist' or 'journalists' a bad word. Wonder why.
You're applying "journalists" as a single, hive-minded entity, when you know they're varied in their opinions, beliefs, and journalistic practices. You know, it'd be something if you could point even...
I'll only be impressed if it's A5 Wagyu.
I killed someone in front of some signage at a gas station, and I was shocked to discover the blood that pooled completely reflected the sign and its colors.
The detail in this game is absurd, lol.
You honestly couldn't be more wrong.
You have zero right to tell writers what they should write.
In all seriousness and actuality, you have the right to buy it or not to buy it, and you have the right to your opinions.
I'm afraid your "rights" end there.
The thing is that they're not 'really' pushing boundaries or taking a 'risk' with their writing. They're simply writing what they want, like, you know, any writer would.
They shouldn't give a crap about polarization either - they should simply tell the story that they want to tell. If something is polarizing that's fine, because there are things far worse than polarizing writing, such as, I don't know, not being able to write what you wan...
It's good for plenty of reasons. I don't think it's shocking 'or' risky, but I do think it's well told, and I do believe it has impact.
You're interpreting it as a risk and shock because you couldn't fathom certain things happening, yet they happened. Naughty Dog wanted to tell this story, so in their minds, they weren't taking a risk, they were just telling a story. Most writers do this. They don't write to appease - they write to te...
Yeah, that's basically it.
They want G.I. Joe and Ninja Turtles. They don't like impact and severity. They don't want meaningful characters. The world of TLOU is merciless and severe, and some people can't take it. They can't take it. They want more Uncharted because it's lighthearted. Everyone always makes it.
This game, really, made the character of Joel potent, powerful, and effectual. When you play through the game, you'll...
@Inn
Disregard other people's experience? Would you at least acknowledge that a large portion of these dissenters haven't even "experienced" it?
"The story deserved better. Joel deserved better."
I'll speak plainly, now. I don't care, nor do the writers, how endeared you are to any character. While you're certainly entitled to your opinion, you don't own these works. They are not yours. This ...
That's your reply...
I've got you pegged. You can't skate away - you're already through the ice.
You created an account to moan here. That's the beginning of the story and that's the end of the story.
"And when I got no point to make make I like to pull out the old English class book and attack someone’s wordings and sentence structure... I guess synthetic form likes to use that trick too"
Lol.
Your sentence structure and wordings? I'm not attacking those, dude, but yes, I am mocking you. I am mocking you because all you've done is opine with force, and you think you're formidable. That deserves (it demands) ridicule.
...
Agreed.
The first game was a home run, and they've cleared '10' ballparks with this sequel.
So, so good.
Does he really seem educated enough?
And yet you literally created an account to moan here.
You may not be a bot, but you play the part. You're a natural.
"This is a story based game."
Top of the class? National Honor Soc?
You've got your sixty dollars. The sheer edge on you, sir.
-clap-
This game is insanely good; I feel bad for people who can't play and enjoy it because they're so wrapped up in nonsense. The game and story are incredible - this is not one to be missed.
Again, the storytelling, presentation, and gameplay have been utterly fantastic. This game is an unmitigated masterpiece across the board, no question. They did it again and owned the gen.
To those who object to certain story aspects; the deaths have been meaningf...
I'm actually quite surprised at how tame, mild, and relatively subdued the lesbian aspect is. I expected a lot more gratuitous, in-your-face pandering, given the nature of the dev, but it really and thankfully hasn't been like that.
It comes across naturally and I'm happy about that.
