Yeah I'm looking forward to TOW too.
Looks like it's gonna be a fun one.
This recent expectation of games to "say something" or "do something" other than be fun and entertaining and sometimes profoundly sad and brilliant (What Remains of Edith Finch) is annoying and unnecessary.
Yes, it's nice to have depth and detail but it's not necessary for a game to be fun, which is what's most important. Borderlands doesn't need to do anything else but be a new Borderlands game - that's all it needs to do and I'm...
I'm sure Jade Raymond's old affiliation with Ubisoft and her new position at Google have absolutely nothing to do with it. /s
It's nice that he's happy, but it doesn't give me much confidence. Although Aaron Greenberg is simply doing his job, he's overestimated things in the past.
That said, I'm still curious as to the goings on at these studios. Every gamer should be at least curious.
You should have just stopped after "A pain? Yeah sure.."
You're acknowledging that this is a negative issue and excusing it by reducing it.
But you are saying it's fine. 'Hey guys, there's a workaround it'll be fine' is essentially what you're saying. Spin your way out of that one.
It's old and therefore not worthy of consideration? Alright.
You're misrepresenting the scale of this. It's confined to a fledgling website and being on N4G isn't exactly pushing it out in the open for a big deal to be made of it.
You're simply defendin...
It's so hard for them - it's just so hard. This is in no way good and these hoops shouldn't have to be jumped through. They're all actually defending something that sucks just because it's their champion plastic.
Christ. When you can't admit that something bad is bad, at least resist the temptation to defend it.
I'm waiting for 'journalists' to grow up.
Between expecting Gears of War to morph into something deeper than brutes killing aliens with Ric Flair woos and a little interhuman drama thrown in for measure, and silly people bemoaning "immoral" kill streaks in video games, I've pretty much had it.
Stop the stupid.
I hope we can use that hammer.
Better hardware is better.
Thanks, gamingbolt.
@MasterC
I've often made the argument that Sony's hands-off approach while still backing their developers contributes to the success of their games.
What Sam said, though, about Sony's developers sharing their tricks and tech - Sony's studios certainly aren't the only ones who do this kinda thing and I imagine it's a common industry-wide thing.
That type of camaraderie isn't exclusive to Sony's studios.
What Remains of Edith Finch was absolutely brilliant in its design and storytelling. So, so, sooo good. This game rocked me.
If you haven't played this game do yourself a favor and just play it.
I don't care what color you are. Whatever you do for a living - do it with diligence, do it with care, and do it right. No cutting corners.
We don't care what color your skin is - that's the last damn thing anyone cares about.
I'd say it depends on the game and its quality and I invite anyone to argue against this. I'm not talking about preference, I'm talking about the content and quality of the shipped build.

Looks like it's coming whether people like it or not. Be that as it may, I'm indifferent, but some of these poor kids are going to be dragged kicking and screaming.
Let the senseless crying commence.
You're repetitive.
You using the term "fanboys" referring to others when you're one of the most aggressive fanboys yourself is pretty silly.
The Order 1886 definitely shouldn't have been a full priced game.
A Plague Tale: Innocence knew what it was worth and was priced accordingly. Good little straightforward game too.
If there's a collector's edition I'm so in.
