If Microsoft doesn't go hard with new games next gen, I don't see what's going to keep me around. I'll hang around for the remainder of the gen but that's it. I'm buying a PS5 straight away, while the Scarlett is a giant wait and see.
Just bought the Game of the Year Edition and I've really been enjoying it. Great superhero game play. There's things I love, things I like, and things that aren't very compelling yet still fit within the context of who Peter/Spider-Man is, so it all works. Lots of mini-gamage, and I'd say this is the only thing I'm not so keen on. Everything else is excellent.
So far I'd give it a solid 8.7 which is the score IGN gave. Definitely in the upper 8.
It's the idea of Stadia that's the bigger joke.
When you have a very proven, traditional option like PlayStation, Stadia seems very undesirable especially when you consider the issues that come with it.
It doesn't make sense to put more blame on Sony than Activision. All Sony is trying to do is get people on PlayStation - really not a crime.
Activision not saying no is the bigger offense all things considered.

I find it kinda funny that people want to blame Sony when Activision has the final say.
Activision could have said "No, Sony, everyone buying our game should receive it in its entirety, and we're not going to block off content from our customers on other platforms. We're sorry but we don't accept."

Some people are of the belief that multiplayer is a misallocation of developer/hardware resources in games where campaign modes are first and foremost, and that those resources are better spent on crafting the most solid campaign possible. This is an OK belief to hold.

I've already pre-ordered the best edition currently available digitally, and plan on grabbing that Ellie Edition as well. Have a kid who would very much appreciate the backpack.

No, this terrible excuse for a game will never turn around. It's been dead for awhile, no need to exhume the corpse and play with it. Burn it and all traces of its existence.
February 22nd is when this disgrace released, so no, it's highly unlikely.
Add it in later but don't tie it to the main game's trophies.

Nah man, this is going to be a 10 at IGN for a few reasons. First and foremost, it's going to be a great game. Everyone seems to love the game play, the new inclusions, and the story that's being told.
Secondly, IGN are, well, you know, that three letter acronym I can't use. There's a fair amount of them at IGN and they have other reasons for loving this game aside from it just being a great game with a great story.
