Not much in terms of spoilers, but if you want to go in absolutely fresh, don't click. There's some nice gameplay in a suburban area and it looks incredible.
The graphical detail and color looks amazing. Another exceptionally well crafted world by Naughty Dog.
I personally don't mind. Single player is the toast of series, and while I understand the multiplayer portion was dear to many, I'm just not all that fazed, personally.
This will be a game I enjoy multiple playthroughs of on different difficulties. For me, the replay value doesn't necessitate multiplayer.
Maybe if you'd recognize that opinion that differs from yours or even the majority isn't trolling.
Also, take a look at the headline. What did you expect? Everyone to agree?
@Neon
No, it's not OK, but the other guys 'did' do it and at least one of you didn't make a peep when Rise of the Tomb Raider was held hostage by Microsoft's deal with the Rise developers.
Yes, I agree, this is the wrong direction to go with things, but - BUT... these companies are being shrewd and securing perks for their platforms. Business is business. Sometimes we hate that (like now for example) but business is business.

@ Angelic I didn't derail anything. Of course I'm saying Sony's at fault - they 'were' party to it. However, I don't fault Sony as much as I do Activision, and neither do IW who are blaming Activision.
This one really let me down.
It tries to be over-the-top crazy but I'd replace crazy with lazy.
Monotony central.
"Fighting hordes is intense and challenging"
Sure. Run, gain distance, turn, attack, repeat with boosters to help. Unless your skills are poor, there's nothing remotely difficult about Days Gone. The hordes are a joke and are easily dispatched with natural self-preservation instinct and a little brain power - I'd say you need to be about as bright as Edison's first bulb.

Activision is to blame?
Pretty much what I've been arguing.
TLOU 2 looked great, as did the Modern Warfare campaign which former Naughty Dog developers are said to be working on. I can definitely see that.
Seriously?
Buying both physical and digital versions.
This is a special game and I make special exceptions for games like this.
Not for me.
TLOU2 absolutely dwarfed everything. Sure, I would have liked to have seen some Ghost of Tsushima, but we'll be seeing it soon enough.
I think he's dead.
Her interactions with Tommy support my theory; naturally she'd go to him as he 'is' Joel's brother.
I kinda doubt that.
I love Joel, but his death would make sense in the story - especially given the bedroom bloodbath guitar playing scene where Joel seems to appear in her conscience.
I could see Naughty Dog killing Joel, but I also know that he may have protected status as a fan favorite. I don't know though, because this isn't Uncharted where none of the good guys die - this is much darker.
I couldn't disagree more about the game play and I thought the whole game dragged on for far too long.
The moment to moment gameplay - killing stragglers, animals, repairing the bike, filling the gas tank, running into the same stranded character models with the same robotic desperate plea, etc, none of it could sustain me but it did you and, well, good for you I guess.
Generic, clear-the-map game, imo.
"Amazing."
Sure.
@ Neon
So Sony accepted a deal like this; this is where we are now. These are the lengths competition goes to. Timed exclusivity deals - Rise of the Tomb Raider couldn't appear on the PS4 for an entire year per Microsoft.
Yes, I blame Activision more for allowing it, I don't care who went to who. Activision are a lot worse than Sony.
He never typed the word "kid" though.
Great article on what's very likely my game of the generation.
