USB C is the easiest to 'insert' I find. Also, I can charge my Galaxy with the console. Yay.
This game looks great. Picking it up and playing immediately after work.
The world is definitely better when it isn't connected to Facebook.
I don't think it's laziness or bias; developers always want their work to shine as brightly as it can on all platforms. Why on Earth would a developer show preferential treatment in regards to platform? I don't think bias is the case anyway.
I think the Xbox One X's power made it easier for the developers to quickly analyze the situation with the platform and say "We can do this much, so this is what we're gonna do."
Since th...
It's not that I'm against this coming back, but I'd rather have Sony focus on new IPs including the ones Sony's studios made this generation.
In other words, I'd rather see Sony put their resources elsewhere.
Everybody's Gone to the Rapture was excellent; didn't get the recognition it deserved, I thought.
What Remains of Edith Finch was another overlooked story game.
No, The Last of Us Part II is the talk of the town right now and it hasn't really fallen out of the news cycle since Outbreak Day.
I'm still looking forward to Death Stranding, but it's on more of a coast than a roll at this point.
Witcher 3 holds the title for me as well, but that 'could' change.
Every single item in the game. Wow.
What happened to just selling a game? Next you'll be able to pay for sun and furniture in games.
Yeah, their games are all built and designed around monetization, making playing through them a total slog. Used to be developers made games that they thought were fun and then released them. Simple, right? We enjoy this and we think/hope you will too.
Not anymore. Now it's all about getting the hooks in; being just fun enough that people want to play. Then when the player is enthralled, deploy different hooks to entice the player to spend more money - that's all t...
Agreed.
I'm going to draw a contrast here; a very, very stark one.
When you have developers and publishers who don't care about what they're making; from character models, to voice acting, to level design, and everything else, you get a poor product because there's no care. They don't give a shit about what they're doing - it's just a job. It's like a guy who goes to his job every day to pay the bills; he does his work but there's no love for wha...
I'm talking about how I'd rather have ads over this assistant? Hello? Can you interpret sarcasm? I think 'you' need an assistant, honestly.
When all that's considered is how you're going to make money; when all you care about is nickeling and diming, this is the result - garbage.
Sony care about getting as many people as possible on PlayStation including Xbox gamers. That's the reasoning behind this move - not to simply make their existing fans happy.
I don't know if it's a huge win for PlayStation, but Sony shouldn't be blamed for trying to entice players to their platform.
It'll be a back-of-the-box feature.
1 player, 1080p video output, 2-24 network players, online play (optional), Dual Shock 4, Remote Play... in-game ads (limited 3 per session, not optional) $5.99 Ad-free gaming (subscription required).
This is great and all, but what I really wanted were ads that popped up during my game sessions.
Disappointed.
How so, exactly?
