I'm very concerned about what happened, and I need a 'dev' to say something.
I had so much fun with this beta - brought me back to the good ole days where I could spend hours playing CoD. Making people frustrated is also back. Loving the lean mechanic.

I should have put more emphasis on "see what others think."
I'm not just talking about high profile review sites, I'm talking about people from various discussion forums and comment sections. Whether they be YouTube, Reddit, IGN, GameSpot, N4G, etc.
Getting feedback from plenty of people who have actually played the game is one of the best ways to see if a game is for you without getting your feet wet. Look at what the masses are saying...
Like jumping all over the place, climbing buildings, grinding on rails at high speed, and killing things with a creative, zany, over-the-top arsenal? This game's for you.
It's also got a great sense of humor.
Well Kojima fans are a given; if you've liked his previous works you should have no hesitation with this one. This may not be tolerable for more casual gamers though.
Before anyone gets worked up over my usage of 'casual' - it's not a put down. There's nothing wrong with hopping on CoD after work, slapping on a headset and doin' a little shooty-shooty with friends.
I think a lot of people should wait for reviews and see what others think before buying this one. Personally, I'm buying it, but this game sure ain't for everyone.
I've known the meaning of egregious longer than you've been breathing most likely.
You're egregious for example.
An internet winning post.
I would say no. Microsoft desperately needs *NEW* IPs. Brand new. That's how they can rival Sony. Oh, and they also have to be good.
What I also forgot was that yes, while he was only addressing the difficulties of one group, you could've been the better guy and represented both sides.
I think I probably should just stop addressing you, though it's difficult to do when I see such egregious things posted. I do it too much, and it's unnecessary and I realize that.
In any case though, I'm wrong for doing it. I see that now. I'm just going to pretend you don't exis...
You implied that things weren't fair or unjust for the Sony crowd and I called BS. It's that simple. You only represented the PlayStation fans and you ignored how the kind of crap you cited goes both ways.
I didn't defend the comment - called it out. Mystic also got it right.
I'd call it at around 80/20 Sony's way.
That's all there is to be said.
I'll start with the online.
This entire generation I've had zero issues with PSN in regards to connectivity or multi-player gaming integrity of any kind. I've had no issues downloading digitally from PSN either. PSN and Xbox Live are by and large the same. Yes, Microsoft has infrastructural advantages with Azure, allowing for higher overall capability and now Sony will now be using this infrastructure for their services.
I'm going to keep ...
Really? Alright.
One requires acknowledging and to some degree appeasing detractors. Repeatedly explaining that they went with first person for such and such reasons. That would be 'defending' the choice.
'Standing by the choice.' Simply make the game you like and ignore the high-chair sitting crybabies pounding their trays decrying the first-person decision. Explain once and be done with it.
What's upsetting is seei...
The poor PlayStation fans of this site. So oppressed. We should be sympathetic to their plight. What can we do? How can we fix it?
🙄
They fucked up by making the game they wanted and not upending years of work to appease people who have no clue as to what they're talking about in regards to development?
They're lazy because 'you' disagree with their vision? I hope you eventually realize how ridiculous you sound.
Yeah, the trench scene with the tank rolling over really has me curious too. Not only did it look awesome, but I've been imagining what I could mean. The paranormal stuff is really thought provoking.
I'm clueless, but there's so much potential and depth here.
Tighten those screws, buddy, things are coming loose.
They've been no-nonsense for most of this game's development; only speaking briefly about how the first-person perspective was right for their game. They ignored the babies.
Seems recently though that they've been addressing these idiots. My argument is simply that they shouldn't. These people who are clamoring for a third-person perspective thinking that it can simply be added after ye...
He was being sarcastic, but all he's doing sprinkling fanboy bullshit on a site that's long reached maximum fanboy bullshit capacity.
Piss mechanics. I lol'd.
Seriously though, by now you should know whether or not this game is for you. I've seen a lot and I'm into it. Even if the game play does end up being not-so-hot, the narrative could be so compelling I'd be able to overlook it.
This has happened to me with games before. Everybody's Gone to The Rapture was a slog yet it was so wonderfully written and presented that I couldn't put it down.
Bloodstained!
Excellent addition.
