Does this mean Kallie Plagge is off the hook for past transgressions? Joking, but it's good to see that there are so many positive reviews.
Gives me hope.
I'm not liking that balancing mini-game thing that seems to occur when you try to run with a certain amount of weight. That looks incredibly irritating. So, I'm tired of walking and want to speed up a little - well that's going to cost you.
I could tolerate that more if so much of the game wasn't based around delivering stuff. Just looks like punishment to me.
Perhaps I'll be able to overlook the negatives if the story is rich and I c...
It's one person's review. Relax. This person is just a regular Joe who reviewed the game and thought it was okay, and that's OK.
I'm going to read his review, then read GameSpot's, and the latter seemed to love it.
Some high and low reviews.
Oh well, a game that isn't for everyone. Imagine that.
Very.
I'm going to see what a close friend says, then make a decision based on his feedback.
Lol @ your metrics. Knights?
If you're not aware of the adoration for Bethesda's pre-Fallout 4 games, I honestly don't know where you've been all these years.
They're certainly becoming hated and with very good reason.
Not quite irrelevant yet, as they're still making games and the gaming community is still talking about them.
@Rainslacker
That's mere opinion. Since Morrowind Bethesda's RPGs have received much acclaim. Maybe they weren't (the) kings, but they certainly could be called kings considering Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Skyrim.
Their games were and still are beloved by many. I'm surprised at your statements as it's not characteristic of you to opine with one-liners.
Oh yeah, PURELY.
It has nothing at all to do with the fact that The Outer Worlds is well received and being enjoyed by many. Also, where's this "god status" you speak of? Nobody has said Obsidian were gods, much less because they've been bought by Microsoft.
The question is, can Obsidian nudge out Bethesda as the better developer of Fallout type games? Where you're getting this "god" nonsense I don't know.
I don't think it's necessarily better than Fallout 3.
I think Obsidian has a real shot at becoming the 'true' Fallout developer and Microsoft the true publisher by making better Fallout type games.
It could happen - we'll have to see. Hopefully Microsoft supports the hell out of Obsidian, and doesn't encourage monetization in their games. If Microsoft just backs them and lets them do their thing, Obsidian can do great things.
The basis of everything gamingunited is saying is his hatred of Microsoft.
Well Microsoft didn't make it! It was already nearly complete! No shit, buddy, that's not what this piece is talking about.
But now that Microsoft owns Obsidian, they could become the publishers of better Fallout type games than Bethesda can make.
What's being asked is that since Microsoft are the stewards for Obsidian from here on out, can they replace Bethesda as the Fallout publisher, essentially, by making better Fallout type games than the actual publisher, Bethesda.
Stop making this about how don't like Microsoft and address what's being discussed more.
The problem with Modern Warfare is that they removed all the variables and attributes that made Call of Duty Call of Duty. You can't flank anymore, visual acuity means nothing now, spatial awareness means nothing now.
This game is ENTIRELY BASED ON SOUND - nothing else.
Don't have a GOOD headset? DO NOT BUY THIS GAME - YOU'LL BE SORRY YOU DID.
Sound whoring is the biggest issue. It encourages the egregious gameplay we see in Modern Warfare.
Everyone stomps around and dead silence being a field upgrade and not a perk doesn't help.
That's what you get, Blizzard.
Yes, it's still Call of Duty. I think "rehash" although valid is still a bit harsh. I think they've gone out of their way to make this multiplayer truly its own.
The single player was excellent with some really cool missions and it's a big step above so many of the trash campaigns like Black Ops 3 - still have no idea what the hell was going on in that story.
The multiplayer is good in many ways but some of the maps are atrocious, an...
I think when a lot of people praise this game they're stacking it up against previous titles and not looking at it as an individual game.
I believe your statements are correct; it's a good game and sometimes it's even great. The graphics, gun detail, audio - they're all top notch especially when compared to previous games.
So, while I may not like it as much as someone else, I get it.
Many of them are awful.
I still prefer the beta maps.
Gunfight is by far my favorite MP mode and it's only 2v2.
It goes by quickly and is a joy to play. Also, people actually move around in it.
"The MOST painfully boring gaming experience of my life - 0/10
Nonsense story, poorly told and with minimal impact - 1/10
Incredible visuals - 7/10
Great cast and voice acting - 7/10
Total and utter waste of time, failure as a game - 0/10"
Yeah, I just gotta wait for friend's opinion on this thing.
