Turning vibration off is the first thing I do when booting up a game for the first time, but if this haptic feedback is worth it, I'll make use of it.

I just really find vibration annoying and not immersive at all - just a nuisance that I have to deal with one time when I boot up a game for the first time.

You're alone - or at least I'm not in your company.

@Boing

I believe boost mode only applies to some games released before the release of the Pro model CUH-7000. Boost mode won't just make any game perform better.

It's not technically impossible at all - why do you keep saying that? They could 'technically' put the game on Pro with zero enhancements. The only thing they may not be able to avoid is a more stable frame rate.

The Pro will have the same shadow quality, AO, AF, etc as the base model unless the developers specifically target these areas - you've got to stop saying it's impossible for the Pro not to be enhanced. Lol.

In any case, I...

They should want to take full advantage of every platform; after all their work is a reflection of them. Still, I think it's Microsoft and not Obsidian.

These companies are playing dirty; paying for long exclusive content, and now not taking advantage of another console's juice to hurt the other side.

Congratulations - very well deserved milestone.

Can't wait for Part II.

Every fight in God of War is fantastic - with any enemy. May well be the best game I've ever played. It's currently tied with The Last of Us in my view. I can't bring myself to say that one is better than the other, but I kinda want to say that God of War beats it.

God of War may be the most well made game I've ever played.

Exactly this. The fans of a company always want the other company to be in trouble when there's a staff shakeup or a dude leaves. We must immediately jump to doomsday conclusions.

He evolves the "gaming" genre? He does justice of what a game should be? What? He does his own games justice? I don't even understand what you're saying, but I can deduce that it's complimentary.

There's no denying that he's a fearless creator, and that he's made good games. His concepts are intriguing and his execution is usually solid, which I can realize and appreciate even if I don't like some of his games. Didn't like MSGV but ...

Yeah, it does. When I think of PlayStation or PS1 I think of this game. The Twisted Metal demo was on a kiosk at the local mall at the now defunct KayBee Toys Store. We played it and were blown away. Then we bought it and were blown away.

If Sony put a top tier developer on this perhaps they could make something great. I don't know if the car combat could still hold my interest but I couldn't get enough head-on ramming, broadsiding, and blowing stuff up back then. W...

This is a great game and one of the most enjoyable games I've played this gen. Almost always tense and never boring. Haven't played it? Play it.

I get it. I do. This is admittedly more of a personal problem with the word "amazing" being applied, imo, way too liberally these days. The things people call amazing (pretty much everything) these days just shouldn't be called amazing. That's just how I feel.

In the case of a slogan for PS5, It's uninspired, safe, and frankly it's boring.

It's lazy millennial "amazing" crap. These kids literally can't come up with anything better so they use the go-to "amazing" crap. Someone smarter at Sony needs to step in and teach these kids about marketing.

I think they should go with something different or just keep the great/greatness theme - it's good and it works.

This "amazing" stuff I'm not too keen on. I actually don't mind the "be amazed" part but "be amazing" implies that one is amazing for choosing PlayStation which is silly, and yes, full of cringe. It's cheesy. I like PlayStation and don't want it to be associated with that kinda cheese.

They nai...

It's fine that the character is a Muslim female, but how does her gender and religion make her more interesting? How does it make her more interesting in general, and how does it make her more interesting than other characters?

This is the nonsense I can't stand. There's absolutely nothing wrong with a Muslim female hero, but telling me that she's more interesting or better than another character based SOLELY ON THAT is silly.
