I don't think there is an MMO to this game. You don't see other hunters while playing or anything...

Great game...though the rate of seeing deer (for me at least) is very low...takes A LOT of patience.

So basically who ever spams the most news wins? Count me out :)

The game is good, load times aren't blazing fast but they are fine. I just don't think this guy was in the mood to review the game.

Wow...the framerate is solid, graphics (for a game that uses sprites) are good. Loading screens are literally a couple seconds max. This guy should be fired, especially after his 'Lasting Appeal' where be basically says this is a good game minus the load times. How in the hell does that warrant a 2.7 out of 10? It doesn't.

I find it ridiculous that IGN, a source i consider to be rather solid for just about anything about games, would allow this review to be posted. It's obvi...

And this is why people hate the French :)

What about an auto-aim/targeting? I couldn't stand using the face buttons.

Does anyone know if you can change the control scheme so that you don't have to use the face buttons as a second analog? I absolutely hate that...

I figure, if you can run WoW, you can run Diablo III. Obviously a higher-end PC will look better but Blizzard is good about getting the game to run and look good on lower-end PCs.

No PSP2 until 2010/11 please. The PS3 still needs A LOT of marketing and money from Sony, something they don't really have right now. So i can only imagine introducing a new PSP2 this year would financially break Sony if they did it. And with all the recent PSP games announced, why overshadow those with a new PSP model?

Ali, yes. Tyson...no. Still, i'm looking forward to this game considering FNR3 was great.

Dead Head Fred is a great game. My personal additions to the list would be God of War and MotoGP. God of War needs no explaining but MotoGP was hands down one of the best racing games on a handheld (excluding Mario Kart). The controls were tight/precise, the graphics good (game was released in 2006 before Sony unlocked the PSP's CPU), and it offers plenty of re-playability.

Sounds about right. The demo was fun, but you could already tell that you would have to replay missions in order to get EXP and the enemies NEVER changed. No randomness at all, same missions, rinse and repeat = boring in my opinion. I really wanted to get this game but if i'm going to have to grind at least change the enemies and their locations a bit.

I'm obviously buying Assassin's Creed (i started that petition back in Nov 2007 so i feel obligated), as well as LBP, Motorstorm, and a few others. I'm just glad we're finally getting some games, hopefully developers have learned from God of War and Crisis Core and develop the games for the PSP and not as a port.

The reason games aren't selling well on the PSP is because last year there were hardly any games to be bought, let alone good ones.

This will be a make-or-break year for the PSP i believe. There are quite a few AAA games coming out this year and next that i really think can rejuvenate the PSP. LittleBigPlanet, Assassin's Creed, Motorstorm, Dissidia, etc...the list goes on which is something us PSP users haven't seen...ever.

R@D complained about about two things when making Chains of Olympus;

-not having enough time, and...
-not fully utilizing the extra 111MHz Sony unlocked midway through development.

R@D said their PSP devkits were optimized quite well in terms of utilizing the PSP, BUT went on to say that they could have gotten even more out of the PSP if they had more time. So i REALLY hope there's a sequel in the works.

Honestly, i just can't justify paying $50 for Wow, and then $15 a month when i paid $60 for FFXII on the PS2 and got 80+ hours out of it. That was spread out over a few months as i took my time and enjoyed the game. Paying $15 a month on top of the $50 to get the game itself would make me feel obligated to play said game 24/7, something that would make me lose interest very quickly.

If they lowered the monthly fee down to perhaps $9.99, MAYBE, just maybe i would consider it for...

Still can't believe my petition to bring Assassin's Creed to the PSP hit 34,000 signatures. While i won't be getting the bundle, i can't wait to get the game later this year :D

The DSi’s cameras are 0.5 MP…zero point five. That’s laughable. I’ll stick to my PSP-2000, but if i had to choose, i’d get the PSP-3000 simply because of PSN, and the recently announced games coming to the PSP; LittleBigPlanet, Assassin’s Creed, Motorstorm, Persona, Disgaea 2, etc…

I was thinking the same thing. Though Sony needs to combat piracy big time with the PSP2. Perhaps they could use there M2 memory stick format but improve the security?
