Yes, but what about those that played the Single Player game of COD4 and beat it on Veteran as well as the "Mile High" mission. They would have to do it over again. Anyone that has played to completion those to parts of the game will agree that once was enough.
However, since Infinity Ward has yet to even release a patch for Rumble for the PS3 I doupt that they will release a patch for trophies. I hate saying that but...
An excellent question. Current tech gives you more open doors than ever before. However, since this is not in conjunction with previous developers, and the current developers knowing how popular Oblivions play was, I think we are looking at a similar experience to Oblivion.
If the origanal development team had access to this and current tech we would be looking at a far different game, for better or worse.
I think people called it "clunky" because when you switch to over the shoulder your movement slows to a crawl. At least that's what I think anyway.

That makes sence to referance Western Controls with a Western developed controler.
I think without Ryan Payton's advice we would have seen controls close to that of Snake Eaters. Which compaired to MGS4's controls seemed like a puzzle all it's own. MGS4's controls are far more user friendly and allows for Western style play with frequent use of the right stick. The only thing I miss doing is shooting from the hip.

I will agree on the fact that the PC with its cutting edge technoligy is they leading factor in graphics and communications properties. However, when all is said and done, nothing has changed on the PC except these feilds. Innovation in game design has taken a back seat to Graphics Cards and Internet Connections.
Also, to me, there is a draw to console gaming in the software alone. When I buy a console I know in 5 years or so I will be able to buy the newest game and play it...

It's good to have these beta's to get the online functionality working correctly. Only I don't think Sirlin was prepaired for the "Ken = Overpowered" comments that some players or making known.
I have no access to the demo, so it may be that Ken is just incredibly effective or cheezy depending on who you ask.

Well they are trying to aviod the abuse that people will give using other gamers game save files to boost their current score. The level playing field makes sence.
However, it occured to me that why don't people that just wait till it's beaten again post 2.40 and save trade again? I think with 2.4 will come a linking system that will tag your game save as yours and register it online so if you do trade the save the other person will not get the awards.
