@Patriots_Pride
"299....what the hell kind of specs do think you can get with that price?"
(Made me chuckle hehe)
...but seriously it's not completely out of this world to suggest a closer price point.
Reason being, I don't believe the technological leap is going to be that significant next gen to justify a higher launch price point....maybe not $299, but PS4 certainly should not exceed $449.
Hicken I'm inclined to agree with you....
As for SPAM-FRITTER-123 he clearly likes to evoke reaction, and he seems pretty effective at it.
In a weird sort of way, we need people like him....
To laugh at! ;)
@SPAM-FRITTER-123
C'mon dude, you gotta be kiddin' lool ;/
*Well now you've had your 5 minutes of fame..can we get some sensible comments please!
PirateThom, I agree to a degree, but you must see the Vita has way too many PS3 ports/versions of existing PS3 games.
My point is probably for another thread since this is all about WipEout.....
Damn, I really, really want Vita to do something amazing...it's early days I guess.
Let's see this PS3 mini fulfil it's potential in the years to come....then i'll get one to compliment my future PS4 purchase.
The God of War series has always been an epic series, no doubt.
Personally, I have enjoyed every release from PS2, PSP to PS3.
However, I would like more control over the camera in future iterations (PS4) so that I can view the incredible scenery, and less of the forced camera views.
On rare occasions I catch myself trying to view my surroundings with the right analogue stick...but find myself doing evasive rolls...still they all are amazi...
WipEout is a cool racer/shooter...but I would really appreciate if Sony made Vita specific games that you cannot even get on PS3.
I can't see the Vita holding its own with so many PS3 ports...the USP (Unique Selling Point) of any console/handheld is the must have games that you won't find on any other hardware.
That's why I have held back from buying PS Vita, I already have most of it's catalogue on PS3 in one form or another.
...
It may just be that Zombie U is similar to Left 4 Dead series (except for checkpoints) in that it's story light. But tbh it shouldn't be judged until the final product is released
In my opinion, just the fact that Nintendo has this type of adult orientated game is the real winner.
I hope it does well at retail and scores high in the reviews. If Wii U can produce these nice visual so early in it's life cycle, then maybe the hardware is not as unde...
What I found slightly amusing is the comment at the 5.50min mark in the video "You use a cricket bat, because in London there are no Baseball bats"
Utterly ridiculous....we have plenty of Baseball Bats in London, they're just not really used to play much Baseball!! ...try protection lol
Zombie U is an interesting prospect and defies that Nintendo kiddie rhetoric we so hear about, but I don't think we should compare the two. Resi has become more action orientated so it's not really worth writing resi off just yet.
I like the trailers of resi 6 so far. There seems to be a trend of rubbishing games in order to boost others. I'm happy that Wii U gets a mature IP, but leave Resi alone....you don't have to buy it, so vote with your wallets!
Jeez I have read some of these comments and truly there are elements of fanboism from some PS3 owners, hey it comes with the territory (I myself own PS3), but only a fool blinded by misguided loyalty could hide behind this sells more, look at the sales!! - What are you...a shareholder??
Utter nonsense...yeah, so what 360 sells very well....that doesn't escape the fact that the real reason why MS aren't going to the TGS is because they haven't enough games to show...
This is cool news... I really want Nintendo to lose that kiddie gamer perception...
More mature content is a good thing...and the softer stuff like Mario, Pikmin etc can co-exist happily.
More choice, bigger demographic, more sales...Keep that M Rated coming.....
A rather insignificant ps store update this month....Really, they shouldn't have even bothered if this is the best they could muster.
I know I'm being a tad selfish, but I don't make ps store purchases for the general ps population.
But I would appreciate if others see some merit in this months update.
They disagree because they are over opinionated numbnutz, and common sense is a rarity in these here times.
I agree with you CRASHBASHUK.
Sony really should concentrate on PS4...there is absolutely nothing wrong with the current slim model.
In today's economy, there is no reason to justify a new ps3 slim if you have a fully functioning one...
Some of us have more money than sense ;)
Why is Wonderbook a fail? ...yeh, I agree it's not for everyone, but isn't that the point? ...it's obviously marketed for pre-school to young teens... It can't be a fail...it's just not yours or my cup of tea!
IMO Nintendo should have stole the show, but they gifted E3 to Sony....
I was very impressed with the visual fidelity of 360 with Halo 4. As a PS3 owner I thought it looked incredible...but that about it.
Yeah, Yeah okay Resi HD collection...I like
...But I much prefer Vice City, San Andreas HD Remakes with Trophies!! ...if they used GTA4 Euphoria engine I would freeking burst with excitement (Breath unheld)...Pls Rockstar...make it happen!!!
Fair enough, i'll take your point regarding Nvidia/Intel since you seem more informed than I do in this regard. I will also agree Sony are probably regretful they have to stick by their free MP promises.
I in no way made the point, nor do I think 'ALL' Sony/Nintendo execs are games players.
But I still believe MS can do a lot more in terms of their game output from a 1st party stand point.
Like I said, I am not having a pop at t...
Welcome to the HD era Nintendo!
Now let's say we give a great gaming company (who's never been about powerful) with the creative talent, endearing, fun, childlike game qualities a chance?
Nintendo is the Disney of video games....they're not trying to compete with MS/Sony.
You want mature, unadulterated games? Then you don't buy a Nintendo system...if you want games that provoke the imagination, games that take you back to you...
Consoles break down, get over it... anyway if yours was an original launch day 60GB model...i'd say you had a good run!
Spare a thought for all the early launch day adopters of the 360....that was a nightmare. I would know, my launch 360 RROD 4 times. Phonecall after phonecall, repair after repair. MS were quick to replace it...great customer service, but that's not the point.
Although I hope this is all rumour and conjecture, it pains me to type this, but....
If the rumours of an always on internet connection to play either Xbox Next or PS4 is mandatory, then I will be getting a Wii U.
I am also concerned my 50+ Blu ray game collection will not be B/C with the PS4 as rumours of cell abandonment are becoming more evident.
This always on internet requirement (if true) makes me feel extremely uncomfortable that our g...
