First of all ....is Mark Cerny actually 'Gay'? I myself have not read anything suggesting he is....
Some well spoken, mild mannered men get labelled 'Gay', but although being Gay should not be an issue with anyone, if Cerny is indeed not 'Gay', then I think we ought to tread carefully with the rhetoric.
However, if he is 'Gay', I don't think it should be brought into the equation.

It doesn't really matter what you or anyone else wanted spec wise...
Sony are delivering the hardware they believe will make it better for developers, publishers, gamers etc...
All this talk is late in the day....PS4 spec is final and will not change.
Now let the games do the talking....
Yes I do care....know why? ...because I was vaguely interested in getting Wii U early on, and I care about 'Gaming' on all systems in general.
I'm not having a pop at Wii U gamers, I'm having a pop at Nintendo, because they are too stubborn to learn from past mistakes.

After an elongated current generation (Xbox 360 will be 8 years old this coming holiday), and poor 1st party support, the least MS could do is put Xbox supporters out of their misery by showing something...anything!!??

That way, the surprise, the joy and the utter excitement that unknowns can generated is that much the greater.

It's very possible, but unlikely. I would date the PS4 (UK) launch between late Nov & Early December.
If the PS4 did hit retail worldwide Oct, then that would be an amazing achievement for Sony.
1 extra month or so is nothing after 6-7 very good years of PS3, should it not launch in Oct.

I would say the Xbox Live figures are quite telling as to approx how much of that 77 Million were replacement consoles.
Xbox 360's real global sales probably lie around *60-67 Million.
Approx *10 - 12 million Xbox 360 users either have had replacements and/or are not signed up to Live Gold Accounts.

Characters models in games are getting near human like.
I shudder to think what the character models on PS4 will look like in 3 years from now.
Imagine Mass Effect on PS4 with facial animation so good, it would be hard to distinguish for the uninitiated.
