Yeah I'm with you on that one. I'm still givin love to Lost Odyssey and can't wait for Cry on, Infinite Undiscovery and Tales of Vespiria on 360. :)
Um The Agency will see the PS3 become a leader in MMO's?
But the exclusive MMO's on Xbox360: Age of Conan, APB, Champions Online & Huxley will have no effect?
Seriously. :/
Just hop on over to IGN and others to see higher res pictures cause these ones are suspiciously awful.
I'm looking forward to this game to get my God of War meets Diablo 2 fix. No in game loading screens, epic story, four player online coop. Hell yeah! :)
@Vendetta
Yeah let's hope MS promotes the hell out of it as they resolutely failed to do with the last one.
@Postedup
"Its just a game, you make it sound like crack or something....lol..."
It is crack! Or at least I'm sure that's what's inside those pinatas.
The game should come with a warning label! lol :)
Does the same logic hold for HOME trophies?
@Nostradamus
"I would still get called a f@g."
And I'd call you sexually insecure! Who cares what others think? The game is still one of my favourites on 360, and if you're a gamer you owe yourself the privilege of playing this game.
Ignore the cover and the homophobic GameStop employee and just buy it!
Any game that allows you to get adult pinatas to mate with their children aint for the kiddies! :)
Nothing like a good ol' photoshop Kaz!
I have all three systems and I actually feel Greenburg was dead on.
Sony has been promising the world for three years now, and all I've got is a big black box that plays expensive DVDs and is collecting dust whilst it waits for MGS4. The last exclusive that gave it a workout was Uncharted and that was last year!
And why's the PS3 selling? Just look at the relatively low game attachment rate and you have the answer - BluRay.
I'm with Jokes, when MS says ...
That based on the $50m Microsoft forwarded to Take Two that indicates both parties believed at the time the DLC should see sales of approximately $150m. This is now wildly conservative given GTAIV sales numbers which have doubled analyst expectations, but based on a widely assumed DLC price of $15 and revenue of $150million that's 10million downloads, and given the DLC will be in two parts thats 5million individual downloads.
The day this site returns to its roots and abandons this fanboy crap the better.
This decision to go motion controlled is purely business based, not game based like so many would like to believe. The strongest selling point for the 360 up to this moment has been it's huge software range (now nearing 1000 titles), you rightly point out that motion control capabilities would immediately open up an avenue for third parties to publish on more than one platform, which in turn will see...
"I'm tired from laughing so hard over at the Open Zone side."
I had no idea you meant that literally until I looked at the Open Zone. :P
Now I like all three consoles but I easily spend the majority of my money and time on the 360. And whilst I'm psyched for MGS4 and Resistance 2, the 360 still has more of my attention with Fable 2, Too Human, Gears of War 2, Halo Wars, Ninja Gaiden 2, APB, Left 4 Dead, Cry On, Infinite Undiscovery, Age of Conan, Huxley and Splinter Cell: Conviction among many other console exclusives on 360. For me I prefer the games lineup of the 360, others will obviously prefer the PS3's.
Havi...
What a waste of web space. Comparing MGS4 to Splinter Cell: Conviction would've been far more interesting and relevant.
NG2 and MGS4 will both be exceptional. If NG2 does 1million it'd be happy days, 2million+ would be extroardinary. On the other hand anything under 5million for MGS4 will be a massive disappointment.
"IGN, EGM, GAMESRADAR, GAMESPY, CVG all said PS3 version is better"... and yet not one of them gave scientific evidence to support such claims.
Regardless of the results, at least Eurogamer based their arguments regarding frame rate, etc, on raw scientific data rather than their subjective naked eyes.
Maybe if all sites did such analysis we could kill this fanboy crap once and for all and go back to playing games for the reasons we started... FUN!
Given the larger install base of the 360 in the forseeable future 12-18months and the PS3s relatively poor attachment rate, none of the PS3 titles this or next year will come close.
The only thing that's within a chance is Gears of War 2 which should sell around 10million over the long term. But even that would fall short of GTAIV's eventual numbers.
The only other possible title that may come close to GTAIV in the next year is Peter Jackson's Halo: Chronicles, whi...
"If I put peoples balls in my mouth for a living I'd be a prostitute... or possibly a Gamespot employee!"
Ouch! that's gotta hurt. ;p

"Killzone's visuals are a different type of splendour to Gears of War or Unreal Tournament III. Those games go for ridiculously high-resolution textures. And in comparison Killzone 2 might look relatively bland, a little Half-Life 2 if you get what me mean. It's the effects plastered all over the grey war zone that make up the difference."
But I'd love to see Codemasters grab it, although they're probably too busy with GRiD. So my vote is for the Forza boys Turn10, which means Microsoft would purchase the license.
I love my racing games, but is there really that big a market for F1?
I generally agree with all of you about the plethora of comparison articles, and yet of all those Eurogamer's is the only one based on a technical and scientific basis compared with the subjective eyes and videos of all the others.
In all honesty this is the only comparison out of all the ones published that's worth more than a spoon of salt! And yet it didn't affect my purchase. I bought the console version my friends were playing.
