Have you ever seen Navis Song? Much better than this one:

"Wegotthiscovered" website uses the most childish, sensationalist headlines just for clicks. Don't waste your time on the site, it's garbage.

No, it isn't "almost here", it's at least 6 months away (if not longer). Very misleading headline.

Cast of the Seven Godsends looks interesting. It's similar to Ghosts and Goblins. Gets mixed reviews on Steam, and looks a bit amateurish, but it still might be a fun game (and it's only $6.99).

Lol, how exactly do those "features" improve your gaming experience? Not one tiny bit.

The single most important purpose of a gaming console is this: to play games. The features you just bragged about are completely worthless for that purpose.

But at least the Wii U is energy efficient, right? ;)

So it's really funny that one of the biggest reasons Nintendo fans give for buying a Wii U, is that it consumes less power and is more "energy efficient" than the PS4 and XB1. How exactly does that make the games better? Oh right, it doesn't at all (in fact, quite the opposite).

You really know when a product is substandard, when that product's "energy efficiency" is all the fans can come up with. SMH.

Really? Which one of those consoles is weaker than the Wii U?

Never mind, I'll answer that for you. Both the PS4 and XB1 feature far superior and more feature-rich hardware than the Wii U. Nintendo cut every possible corner they could in the design of the Wii U; do I even need to list all the areas where the Wii U fell way short?

Why do you feel the need to (unsuccessfully) point fingers at the PS4 and XB1, when the Wii U was clearly such a poorly-...

Nintendo's gaming hardware has been substandard for many years, they really need to just quit making hardware and go software only. All they've done with hardware is to make the cheapest possible product, cutting every possible feature out and reducing the specs to the bare minimum, then throwing in a cheap gimmick to try to differentiate themselves. The result is poor hardware that is unable to deliver solid gaming experiences.

I do completely agree that Nintendo has "always gone to the beat of their own drum", but for quite some time now, they've been failing to deliver the solid gaming hardware and games that people really want. Not so many "memorable experiences" lately, just mediocre stuff.

Why do you claim that the Neo will "divide the market"? Sony has said that all games coming out for the PS4 will run on both models. Please don't make statements like this that are unsubstantiated.

Another totally biased, anti-Sony clickbait article from Gamingbolt. No surprise, the author (Rashid Sayed) has been trying to smear Sony for a while now. Best thing to do, just ignore the articles from Gamingbolt, they're totally biased and very poorly thought out.

I really wish Vector Unit would produce another Hydro Thunder game, the original and its sequel (Hurricane) are among my favorite games.

Six reasons why I didn't even read this article:

Yes, you did mention that at the beginning of your article. But you didn't acknowledge that the NX could follow the exact same pattern, and you gave no reasons why it might succeed vs. the Wii U. There is nothing different from the pre-Wii U hype and the pre-NX hype. Developers are always going to put a positive spin on their comments if they hope to develop games and make profits from a new piece of gaming hardware; it's all really just PR hype, nothing more.

3549d ago 6 agree13 disagreeView comment

I read the article, but there are almost no facts to support the author's arguments. It really just seems like optimistic fanboy fantasies rather than a solid essay on the potential of the NX.

The same kinds of positive comments from developers preceded the release of the Wii U, and look how that turned out.

You're completely missing the point. I buy games, both physically and digitally, to play them whenever I want to. I don't want a company to tell me when and where I can play the games I bought, or to make me jump through stupid hoops to play them. That's one reason why I totally skipped the XB1, after MS announced that policy early on, I decided to just stick with the PS4.

The author of the article really has no good reason to offer for bringing back the policy...

Why would anyone think that the anti-consumer "always online DRM" garbage is a good idea? It wasn't 4 years ago, and still isn't now. Complete idiocy.

This is what Nintendo has become, a purveyor of cheap toys instead of a respected video game hardware and software developer. Amiibo are a cancer in the gaming industry (along with the other toys to life manufacturers); the sooner these crappy gimmicks die out, the better.

It's pretty sad when the only successful game you can bring up is a cheap mobile game. How far the mighty Nintendo has fallen, indeed.

I would cry too if I had bought a Wii U. One of the worst consoles released in the last decade or so.
