"I do not buy any third party titles for my Nintendo Systems only First Party"
And it's your type of attitude that will directly contribute to the failure of the NX. Without robust sales of 3rd party games, the NX will fail, and you won't get very many of those first party games at all.
I think this is good news in terms of power for a portable system. We all know that a portable console is not going to be able to match the power of home consoles, and that's fine.
The real question is about the other components of the NX, notably the type, size, and quality of: screen, buttons , analog sticks, internal battery, ports, etc. Nintendo has had a pretty poor track record in these areas in the past (on their portables and home consoles), preferring to save ...
Accidentally down voted you but I totally agree. Nintendo could have put a lot more effort into the NES mini, instead they just contracted with a Chinese company to produce the cheapest possible product. And it looks like the controller cord s way too short, what were they thinking?
* crickets *
Wow, the Wii U really had a very small library of games in its lifespan. The lesson to be learned is that gimmicks alone are not enough to create a successful product. The Wii U was entirely built around a gimmick, with poor specs and missing features for the rest of the console, no wonder it failed.
Wow just saw the price, great deal for this remaster! Getting it day one!
Boom! Hit the nail on the head. Can't believe they shipped the retail version without it. Huge mistake.
Can't believe that Capcom shipped SFV on disc without a huge portion of the game (including single player mode). What were they thinking?
Meant to upvote you but accidentally down voted, when my cat bumped my arm, lol. Totally agree, looking forward to KOF!
This system sounds much better than the NES mini, looking forward to it!
I agree, love the DS4 but wish it had replaceable battery packs. The 360 controllers work great with NIMH batteries, and last a long time with them.
Amiibo are a cancer growing in the gaming industry, the sooner the fad fizzles out, the better.
Wow Nintendo is really not in good shape, big losses last quarter and they're just going to get worse over the next year. That's what you get when you don't listen to the gaming community, sadly.
It'll probably be $99 or less in the bargain bins later this year.
MS gotta make money somehow, I agree that $90 is a bit ridiculous.
EDIT: $90 is for a custom controller, not the stock one from MS. So the standard is still $60.
Shame they didn't work on the new Burnout-style game first. I know that they put a lot of money, time, resources, and love into Dangerous Golf, but it doesn't seem to have done very well. I hope things work out for them and wish them the best.
"Thing is Ninty does well with consoles"
They do? Then what happened with the Wii and Wii U? 😞
Alienation is an incredible game, every time I play, I become completely engrossed in it! Amazing game.
Resogun and Alienation were both FANTASTIC games, they are among my favorites. Totally agree with Overlord above, I will buy whatever this company releases, Day One!!!
It really isn't the "best gaming combo hands down", you're missing a huge library of games that only come out on the other consoles. But keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better.
