Why can't N4G contributors put a small reference to the region in their article posts here? How hard would it be to put UK in the title or byline when posting? SMH.
Wow, Super Mario Run is coming to Android! !1!11! $10 for a crappy endless runner, no thanks.
Wii U was never worth buying at all. If your gamepad breaks, the entire system becomes a useless brick, since the gamepad is required to use the system. And replacement Wii U gamepads cost about $150, if you can even find them. And if your console breaks, you lose all your digital purchases since Nintendo ties them to the console, not your account. No one should buy anything digitally from Nintendo until they stop this anti-consumer policy.
Wii U was a very poorly designe...
I'm getting a 1tb BF1 XB1 S for Xmas, and I was fortunate enough to find both those games on sale for only $24 each (Best Buy flash sale with GCU). Looking forward to trying them out!
This action basically confirms that the Wii U version of Zelda BotW will be cancelled. Why would they pull Wii U consoles from retailers if they had a huge new game coming out for that very same console? Think about it, makes no sense at all.
If this is true, it basically confirms that Nintendo has cancelled the Wii U version of the upcoming Zelda game, despite adamantly refusing to admit that for a long time now. Why would they release Zelda for the Wii U, if there are no new Wii U consoles for people to buy?
If I were a Wii U owner, I'd be pretty angry that Nintendo went back on their word, and would never buy another one of their gaming consoles. Terrible way to treat their most loyal fans.
By all means, don't worry about "the tech", Nintendo always delivers, amirite? Oh wait...
"Switch seems to be running current gen engines just fine."
This is fanboy fantasies at their worst. You haven't seen anything actually running on the Switch in any depth, other than a few video snippets from Nintendo. You have no basis whatsoever for claiming that games are running on the Switch "just fine".
And no, saying you've seen games running on a PC with specs equivalent to the Switch is just sad. At least wait for the ...
Nintendo's own greed has been contributing to their downfall for many years. They refuse to open their wallets when designing and manufacturing their gaming hardware, instead preferring to deliver the cheapest possible hardware, with subpar specs and missing features, just to maximize their profits. They are very miserly in providing decent quality components and features in their gaming hardware. They throw in a cheap gimmick and hope people won't notice the mediocre hardware. This ...
That's ridiculous. The Vita is a fantastic system with a solid library of games, and it can even play most PSP (and some PS1) games on its larger screen with much better load times and much better image quality. I love the PSP and still own multiple models, but the Vita blows it away.
Yet another clickbait article from Rashid Sayed/Gamingbolt. Don't give them the clicks, maybe one day they'll go away. Rashid Sayed has already admitted that he hates Sony, he is using his spammy website to tear them down whenever he can.
Yeah, this article really just seems like fanboy fantasies. Very little is known about the specs and features of the Switch, it's way too early to get excited about it.
What? I never said anything about the Elite controller and never had any interest in getting one. Try to get your facts straight next time.
And yes, I find Jimmy Fallon to be fake and annoying, although I do think he's much better than Conan.
He'll defend Nintendo to the bitter end, and make excuses for every bad product/game/decision they make. It's "fans" like this one who are hastening Nintendo's eventual demise in the gaming world.
But hey, there's always that "quality of life" project Nintendo was working on, so there's still hope.
If this is true, it's the final kick in the teeth for Wii U owners, compliments of Nintendo. But it's entirely believable, when you consider how weak the Wii U is. Only 1gb available for games, no internal HDD, weak CPU and GPU, etc. Wii U would struggle to even begin to run the game, it just wasn't built to handle anything more than simple stuff.
Wii U mad bro?
If these are supposed to be among the "best" titles in the Wii U's lifespan, it's a very sad list.
"You don't have to worry about 3rd party support for Switch. it will be there because Nintendo will engage developers."
You have absolutely no facts to back up your statement. It's really just conjecture, not sure why you think the Switch will magically bring back 3rd party developers when the device clearly won't be heavily competing with the PS4 and XB1.
I do think that the Switch is a good move by Nintendo, but the jury is out on...
Except lately they've been making a lot of mediocre games, so no. Mario Party 10, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Star Fox Zero, Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival, Wii Sports Club, Wii Party U, Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash, Pokemon Rumble U, etc. we're all mediocre games at best. Nintendo is not the great developer they used to be, by a long shot.
Keep in mind that if your 3DS or Wii U breaks, you lose all your digital purchases since Nintendo ties them to hardware, not accounts. Sure, you can call Nintendo and beg them to restore your digital purchases, but it isn't guaranteed that they will. No one should buy any digital games from Nintendo until they change this harsh, anti-consumer policy.
