A very greedy company, no one should support these kinds of sleazy practices.
You are aware of how bad the VC is for retro games? Dull, muted colors and poor sound. Even the $60 NES Mini has far better emulation:

Agreed. The Wii U also only had 32gb of internal storage (with only 25gb usable), and Nintendo got a lot of flack about it. Why are they so cheap when designing their gaming hardware? Total joke.
Yep. How can they continue to support the 3DS when the handheld itself is no longer available? Seems like absolute BS what Reggie is saying.
The 3DS really is a cheap, gimmicky piece of junk. The sooner it dies out, the better. Reggie is straight up lying by saying that Nintendo will continue to support it.
Agreed. But there is a simple answer to the high cost of Switch games: greed. Nintendo is trying to extract the maximum possible amount of money from their loyal fans. They've been doing this for many years, it shouldn't come as a surprise.
People like you are why Nintendo continues to fail. You would literally buy a turd-in-a-box shaped like Mario, if they sold one. Blindly buying into this kind of crap is not going to change Nintendo into a good company. Wake up.
One of the most embarrassing "games" ever made, and Nintendo is actually charging money for it? Unbelievable.
Wow that Switch reveal was a disaster. Almost no games, poor battery life, tiny internal storage, no detailed system specs (CPU, GPU, etc). Nintendo is really living in a bubble, they are completely out of touch with the real world.
Both the PS4 and XB1 dropped to $250 a while ago, the Switch is already hugely overpriced, and it hasn't even released yet. Epic fail.
Should've hit those purps, would have dulled the pain of the presentation.
Aaaaaaaaand, here we go. Nintendo is already proving that they haven't learned anything from the failure of the Wii U. They need to stop being cheap when designing their gaming hardware. They constantly leave out important features like this one, assuming their customers are too stupid to know the difference. I can already see that the rest of the specs and features will fall way short, and the Switch is headed for failure.
This game was supposed to look and play like the original Ghosts and Goblins games, and it does that very well. I understand what you are saying about modern graphics with Retro style games, there is a place for that, but Cursed Castilla really captures the look and feel of the GnG games very well, and that's a great thing.
Let's hope that Nintendo fixes all the poor emulation featured in the Wii U VC (dull, muted colors and poor sound). The NES Mini actually had great quality emulation, much better than the VC:

The PSP is a fantastic little handheld, as is the Vita as well. Let me guess, you bought into the crappy, gimmicky DS and 3DS systems though, and you probably consider those cheap Fisher Price toys to be excellent? Another blinded Nintendo fanboy who buys into their cheap junk.
Your username really should be ObviousTroll, fits your style a lot better.
No, it's cancelled. The Wii U simply didn't have the power to run an open world game like this, despite the simple, cartoony graphics. Look at all the articles about it:

Only in the wildest fanboy fantasies are Nintendo "making a profit" off the Wii U, the system is basically dead and not even available at retail to buy anymore. How can they make a profit off of something that isn't even sold anymore? SMH
Yeah, if I bought a Wii U, I'd be geeking for something else to play games as well, since it had such a poor library with few decent games. But keep in mind, for the price of a Switch, you could get a PS4 or XB1 instead; kind of makes it hard to get excited about.
Which is not a good sign for Western support, or games themselves, outside of a few genres.
Don't forget to change into your Mario pajamas before you start playing.
