CryEngine 3 pushes the consoles' limits, however none of them can touch a high end PC.
But this is all right, since you buy have graphics cards more expensive than a PS3, some difference is expected.
But not in that sense. It will be another bundle similar to the Elite, like many people pointed out.
The only thing missing for Xbox (for me) is a cheaper hard drive. If they have a Natal + 250+GB (hopefully) + Some Games bundle, I can buy another Xbox.
Fortunately both Halo and Gears provide higher difficulty settings.
Games should be hard. Toys (Wii) could be easier.
However Forza's engine does real time physics, like the wear out on the tires due to road conditions.
And this is not predetermined, since all the car parts (from engine to exterior paint) are customizable.
Only 60fps has been confirmed so far, and many sources reported the game videos were 720p. So this is probably what you'll get, except the possibility of last minute changes.
Turkish Star Wars was at least trying
Kojima is a great producer, let's have some of his work, too.
Sharing is good.
The technology is built upon Windows 7 speech system. So I know it's *out there*, but it's not right here (in my 360).
Head turns can be amplified, so a slight turn of the head can do the trick (or they can track the controller, and moving the controller around allows you to look through sides).
Anyways, the thing packs good amount of possibilities, and if they provide good intensives for hard core players, it will be another peripheral that I'll buy.
They mentioned this in the article. Hope some kind of "blending" is implemented so that:
* There is seamless voice chat in all games
* Extra stuff (like looking sideways in car racing) are natural
* Menu navigation is voice based
* Typing can be done as dictation
This would really work for the hardcore, not gimmicky 3d-breakout stuff.
I was never excited about FF: Online, and definitely not about this either. I'll just play my FF:XIII with the comfort of not paying a monthly fee, or whatsoever.
I've experience with MMO games, and only bottom line is, that they kill your personal life. I want to play games at times when I feel like it, not when my guild feels like it.
They mentioned you'd need driving to get around the town. It's supposed to be 36 square miles (100 square kms). I think there is an invisible wall kind of thing around it.
Just check out the FAQ:

You know what? It's not nice to cross post the same thing all over the place.
They might resurrect those projects. EyeToy did not seem to gain much interest.
(I'm not a PS3 fan, but I did not see anybody talk about EyeToy either).

It's getting more and more satisfying as I unlock higher jumps, or get better weapons (I don't have the rocket launcher, yet. But I have a nice grenade launcher).
Yes, the graphics are a little bit dated, and sometimes I randomly die. But those minor things can be looked over, as the game is fun, and the city is very much alive.
You get to die in several occasions. They also have a stats screen that keeps tracks of the ways you die.
Also you might try to play on harder difficulties.
So, give it a shot as a rental, if you like it you might keep it as well.
You're right stealth games are difficult.
For example, I'm planning to replay MGS4 to get "big boss extreme" emblem. However it does not "restart" when you're seen, and if you finish a level without noticing that, you'd have to redo that level again.
Early previews were promising, but cannot accept a 4-hour game with no multiplayer at $60 value. nope. :(
It probably has the effect like StarCraft. The game is well balanced, and fun to play. So people keep doing that.
Instead of dragging on, and on, they should let characters age, and pass away.
