This is amazing news no matter how it's packaged. These three games are just phenomenal and playing them again at 1080p/60fps like The Last of Us will make them feel so fresh. Also, I'm sure ND were able to remedy the screen tear that plagued the first game so that in of itself is something to be excited about. I have never seen a company remaster a game while fixing a technical deficiency that plagued the game. Between the announcement of Fallout 4 and now this leak, I'm so pumpe...
Damn these games are too difficult/time consuming to keep up with. I just finished Bloodborne (working on NG+ and Chalice Dungeons), still have to complete Dark Souls 2 for PS4 and now Dark Souls 3 is already coming. I'm not complaining but I just lack the time that's required to complete these games. Add in Witcher 3 and it's like I could stay inside for days on end just playing rpgs. From Software/Namco/Sony should give it a rest before franchise fatigue sets in. I love these ga...
Just STFU you moron, TLOU on PS4 would melt an Xbone. You're such a troll.
Best news I have heard all month, bring it on.
Your expectations seem right on point, Xbone fanboys' brains are deluded.
900p/45-50ish FPS confirmed for Xbone.
Guess you missed Bloodborne sucker, enjoy wandering aimlessly and having pointless conversations with useless NPC's guiding you on your many fetch quests. Plus the combat in Witcher 3 looks terrible. Can't wait to see all the downgrade articles that come out once this is released for the consoles, specifically the Xbone. It's going to look like garbage. This game will be forgotten about within a month. So sad people are actually looking forward to this.
Dead Space 1 & 2 absolutely destroy this game in terms of horror.
That's because he was busy creating the new masterpiece that is Bloodborne. It was the right decision.
I wouldn't bank on Witcher 3 being nearly as good as Bloodborne let alone Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin.
Bloodborne is so fucking epic
Same thing with Bloodborne, only time there's a load screen is when you die or travel to another area but that didn't stop it from being raked over the burning hot coals.
Agreed, this game will probably be a rental at best.
That's great and all, but honestly the combat looks like garbage after playing something like Bloodborne or Dark Souls 2 for PS4. If you're into role playing and talking to tons of NPC's about pointless crap and wandering around a huge world doing fetch quests this game is for you. I will be playing Bloodborne and Dark Souls 2 as the combat and gameplay are amazing in those games. Bloodborne specifically is phenomenal.
Playing online is fun if you just mute everyone and don't use a mic. People tend to exaggerate the negatives. The only thing I absolutely hate is when someone joins a lobby with their mic on full blast with some annoying sound/music. That's about really it though. Obviously online gaming can become extremely repetitive as well but I will always enjoy it in short bursts. I never encounter half the negatives I read/hear about.
I love Bloodborne and all Souls games and I agree completely. Bloodborne is a Gothic/Victorian Action/Monster Hunter RPG. Demons' Souls and Dark Souls are Medieval Action RPG's. They can be extremely tense and horrifying at times though they are never "Scary." I thought Demon's Souls Tower of Latria was more unsettling than anything in Bloodborne. The only sections in Bloodborne that are anywhere near survival horror is the Upper Cathedral and maybe the Forbidden Woods. ...
I played Bloodborne as a waste of skin NG+++, that's how I roll.
This gameplay footage is so old. Some people have used it on youtube claiming it to be the newest GTA lol
Sadly, this could have been DLC for The New Order. Odd they decided to make it into a full retail release. Greed knows no bounds, first publishers/companies cut content out of the game during development in order to re-sell as DLC when it should have been in the main game from the start. This is much much worse as they are selling what was cut from The New Order during development and re-packaging it as a full retail game in The Old Blood. That's terrible.
I was just thinking about this last night as I played Fallout 3. No question, hands down my opinion is Fallout 3. It's so amazing despite the technical issues. The sense of wonder from the exploration is undeniable and the depth of the game's universe/lore is just astounding. I also just love walking across the Wasteland to witness a gang of slavers chasing down their terrified prey(slaves) and gunning them down right in front of me. It's so dark, funny and violent. Just a great g...
