How so? Valve built a plethora of "steam machines" to try and compete with Sony and M$ and it seems to have backfired. What are the sales figures for those again??
I played it last night just to break up Bloodborne and was amazed just like when I first played it. The game is so polished and the gunplay very satisfying. The story was so unique and well done. The characters and setting were spot on. Now just add more fighting against the Lycans and throw in some Vampires for me to stake. A solid coop mode would be such a great addition to this franchise.

Cleric Beast is a joke. I fought Father G first and was like "damn this is a very hard first boss." Then I found Cleric Beast and kicked his ass in about less than a minute. Very easy boss battle in my opinion.
If you really believe that's the Xbone version you are just plain dumb. Guaranteed PC version. It was already confirmed by CD Project.

Hopefully this stunning world is full of monsters to kill and good gameplay like Bloodborne. I will wait for the reviews on this one.
Read my comment below, this game is brutally difficult. Don't be mislead by the many commenters here who do nothing but play the game all day. If you have a job, family and responsibilities/ obligations it's hard to play a game like this. It's almost like a job to complete this game. And for the record, I'm a Souls fan since Demon's Souls. I played the shit out of Demon's and Dark Souls, between PVP and PVE I have well over 1500 Hours logged in and that's no exaggeration. I'm playing through Bloodborne right now and I must say it feels harder than both Demon's Souls and Dark Souls simply because you have no shield and some of the bosses are so fast and deadly that it becomes very intimidating. Ok, so I could have 1 shotted the guy with my Northern Regalia but instead I tried to make it feel like an epic boss battle for him/her and I just swung my Giant Meat Cleaver around. I gave them an entertaining battle and had them within inches of death. Much harder to do that than it would have been to kill him/her instantly. Plus the player was clearly a noob that I could have killed in less than 10 seconds. Is that ok with you?
Old Monk was amazing. I played Demon's Souls not too long before Bloodborne dropped and tried to invade in the Tower of Latria and I became the boss. I gave the player a good fight but eventually let him win just so he/she would have their adrenaline pumping from the feeling of victory. My favorite bosses are Maneater, Flamelurker, Smough & Ornstein, Twin Gargoyle, Four Kings. Coolest bosses from BB so far(I have only beaten around 6-7) in my opinion are Father G and Cleric Beast.
That's what happened to me after finally completing Demon's Souls back in 2009. It was hard to even play Uncharted 2 after spending around 70 hours completing Demon's Souls for the first time with no help, strategy guides or online references for guidance. Competitive MP would make no sense, however, Coop could work.
That's the problem with playing a Souls game. Once you complete it's hard to go back to any other game. There's definitely a transitioning period. I will be happy to play Dark Souls 2 while playing Bloodborne as they are very different games yet share the same addictive qualities. Plus I never beat Dark Souls 2 so I'm looking forward to playing it at 1080p/60fps.
