Totally agree, they just created a new IP with Bloodborne. I'd be stunned if they made another new IP. They're working on the Dark Souls franchise and the Bloodborne franchise simultaneously.

Unless you wanted to play what's considered GOTY by many, that being Bloodborne. I have both systems but I think I would take my PS4 if I had to choose, even with Rise of the Tomb Raider about to launch. Bloodborne is just that good. Not to mention Uncharted 4, The Last Guardian, Dreams and David Cage's new game Detroit or whatever it's called in the pipeline. There's just no debating that by next year, PS4 will have so many heavy hitters out. People also forget they released ...

I highly doubt Rise of the Tomb Raider will be 60fps on Xbone and 30fps on 360. They will both be locked at 30fps, the xbone will be dynamic 1080p while the 360 will be 720p.

Yes, you're probably the only one. The game is Gothic/Victorian Horror Bloodbath, what did you expect?

I agree completely, the single player should have the same fps and resolution as the multiplayer. After playing the buttery smooth remastered collection at 60fps, I would prefer Uncharted 4 to follow suit. Who cares if it's 900p as long as it's locked at that 60fps.

I agree, however they did fix it quite a bit since launch last March. The framerate is still a bit choppy though here and there. During combat it always seems to remain smooth so that's a plus. Believe me, I would love to see this game running at a rock solid 30fps at all times but it doesn't change the fact that the game is incredible. I will take Bloodborne as is rather than not have the game at all. It's just that amazing. Miyazaki is brilliant.

Just imagine if it was the XBone that had the red ring of death issues. It would have sealed their fate this gen. I still wonder how many new xbox 360's were purchased to replace a red ringer last gen lol. The sales numbers last gen were definitely skewed.

Demon's Souls had me the same way. However, I personally think Bloodborne exceeded Demon's Souls which I thought was impossible.

It's unfortunately all too common to see a big title release bits and pieces of DLC and later announce a GOTY edition(when it's usually not even considered such)with all the DLC included for a lower price than the initial MSRP. Bloodborne is not one of these games. This game actually deserves the GOTY edition and title.

I wouldn't mind a few more. Killzone 2 at 1080p/60fps would be glorious. My hope is for Demon's Souls remaster though, that game would be so amazing at 1080p/60fps. Demon's Souls really deserves it, such a spectacular game.

YEs, but it's only on Xbone which means any Sony sales from the last game won't relate here. Plus the Xbone crowd isn't exactly known for eating these types of games up. It's not Halo or Gears, I wouldn't expect it to set any sales records, that's for sure.

True, though the fact remains Fallout 3 sold truck loads compared to TR reboot. If a gamer can't afford both, they will likely pick up Fallout 4 at launch and wait for a price drop on Rise of the Tomb Raider. I will get both but everyone's not that fortunate.

Love the Flooded City, excellent sequence worth playing through a couple times.

The fact that Bluepoint was able to lock the game at 60fps and vsync it as amazing. Fixing that horrific screen tearing from Uncharted Drakes Fortune while upping the res and doubling the framerate must have been tough. Much respect to Bluepoint/ND, plus the PS4 is a beast that's capable of this kind of visual fidelity and technical prowess.

Real gamers take solid performance, especially in this type of game over more "sheen" any day of the week. If the framerate is choppy, game becomes garbage, don't care how good it looks at that point.

In my opinion TR did a great job distinguishing itself from UC by going dark and gritty. It's more violent and realistic whereas UC is more Hollywood action. Both are great.

As a one who enjoys games in general, regardless of the platform, I never understand the dedication to one single company. I absolutely adore Bloodborne, it's by far my game of the year and probably generation. That doesn't mean I only play PS4 games though. I'm a fan of games, period. Not companies. Give me all the games I can afford on both systems, just make them fun and content that I enjoy. I'm getting both Uncharted 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider for my XBone, just like I...

Let's hope so, since druckmann and straley have their creative hands all over it. Still expecting Rise of the Tomb Raider to be a great game and receive critical acclaim.

Can't wait for this, expecting lots of high scores and an extremely fun experience. This and the Uncharted Collection have my adventure needs covered.

This game runs phenomenal on PS4. I'm not even a fan of Star Wars in general but I'm getting this day one.
