Exactly! I started playing the game with my insight jacked up over 50 on NG++ and it's like a totally new game. New enemies I have never seen before and old enemies have different attacks, it's awesome.
I adore Bloodborne and I know what you mean, however, to not do something with the IP would be foolish. Demon's Souls 2 should definitely be made. Bloodborne 2 will come soon enough, it's inevitable.
The fact that they fixed the screen tearing is amazing.
Totally agree, this is a remaster that would really benefit from a bump to 60fps besides the resolution increase to 1080p. Hopefully we get that as well.
Maybe....but I bet it delivers and critics will be blown away. I have a feeling this game will be something special.
Same here, I was way more pulled in by MGS4 and the story between Old Snake and Liquid. And MGS4 had stellar gameplay to match the story. I'm actually debating selling Phantom Pain back while it still has value. It just seems like a barren open world with random guard posts to infiltrate. It gets boring fast.
This game really looks unique. I have a feeling it may be a legendary masterpiece that silences all the doubters.
You would think they would invite gamers who have played and beaten all their Souls games.
Absolutely loved getting invaded in Demon's Souls. It was revolutionary and worked very well. I had some epic duels. There was such a feeling of true fear that came over me when I was dungeon crawling barely surviving, seeing that I was getting invaded and someone was hunting me in my own single player game. Instilled more fear in me than any horror game I have ever played. Bloodborne has some great invasions, though they're much less frequent.
There's valuable treasure ahead...
If they do this, the XBone is in major trouble. So many people will go with the PS4 this holiday.
Looks like Blue Point games fixed the screen tearing in Uncharted: Drakes's Fortune. That's amazing, can't wait to play this in a few weeks. The entire trilogy in 1080p 60FPS, epic.
Uncharted 2 on PS3 looks like a PC game at times, it's beautiful with an amazing art style. I can't wait to play it at 60FPS in 1080p where it will truly look and play like a sick PC game. Also, anyone who says that simply upping the res and framerate isn't a true remaster are really ignorant and have no clue what it takes to get a game locked at that res and framerate with no screen tearing, it takes some seriously development skills and an amazing game engine. Which is why, as m...
Why would you want to turn off gore in a Fallout game? Makes no sense.
Bloodborne is extremely difficult, and for some it's just not a game they will ever be able to enjoy. The Witcher 3 and MGS5 have much more mass appeal. Not to mention Bloodborne is only on PS4. Bloodborne is my personal GOTY, though I'm still reserving judgement with Bethesda Softwork's Fallout 4 on the way which should be amazing.
Bloodborne has the better art style and is the best game amongst the three. Fallout 4 is the only game that will be competition for GOTY with Bloodborne in my opinion.
Yup, he added nothing to the game anyway. When I met him in Fallout 3 I wanted to kill him every time. Not sure if he was killable as he was part of the main story but I don't recall blowing his head off and believe me I would have. Easily replaced in my opinion.
I have to agree, for me MGS4 was much more stunning and that came out in 2008. I'm not nearly as blown away by MGS5. The boss battles in MGS4 were awesome, specifically against Raging Raven. Also, I felt like this would be in competition with Bloodborne for game of the year, as it stands now I only see Fallout 4 being the only real competition for GOTY against Bloodborne in my mind.
Overall, the enemy AI isn't bad. Dom, that's another story. It's so bad, he's basically brain dead. Can't even count the number of times the Beserker killed him causing me to fail and how many times he has gotten me killed. Not to mention reviving him, so useless. I don't remember it being that bad in the original either.
It will more so due to it's difficulty. A large majority of the gaming community will never complete this game, their votes will likely go to games like MGS5, Witcher 3, Halo 5, Fallout 4 because they are so easy to finish. Bloodborne takes time, patience and dedication that a lot of gamers just don't have. I'm level 180 or so and I can honestly say at first the game didn't click like Demon's Souls and Dark Souls did with me. Bloodborne eventually grew on me and I can easi...
