I completely agree, I would trade my left nut to play Bloodborne at a silky smooth 60fps.
Three of the best action adventure games ever made running at 1080p/60fps has me sold day one. Can't wait for Friday.
I really try to live by the adage, "to each his own." However, this is a bit ridiculous. It's hard to see what people get out of these things, specifically grown men.
This game will be dead in a few months, guaranteed. It may have a decent following off the bat, however, most will leave for better FPS games. Just a matter of time.
If you can handle it, Bloodborne is the best of all. Don't miss that one.
I can't wait for this Friday, too bad more games don't release on Friday. Anyhow, this will be a phenomenal experience in 1080p/60fps. This collection along with the new Tomb Raider will keep me happy until Uncharted 4 drops.
When you release three AAA exclusives like The Order: 1886, Bloodborne and Until Dawn in the same year that is packed with amazing multiplats like MGS5: The Phantom Pain and Fallout 4 while mixing in some sweet 1080p/60fps remasters like God of War 3 and Uncharted Collection and some nice indie exclusives, I'd say there's no reason to defend anything. The games speak for themselves. What has M$ done for the Xbone this year that competes with what Sony did for PS4?
Bloodborne is a fantastic game as well
With amazing exclusives like Demon's Souls, MGS4, Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain, God of War 3, LittleBigPlanet.....I don't think so.
Bloodborne is an amazing Victorian/Gothic action RPG with probably the best combat in any game. The inclusion of insight was also a huge game changer, the game basically transforms right before your eyes the more you consume. The level design, plethora of secrets, amazingly designed bosses, amazing story/lore(See Father Gascoigne's family)sick weapons and unique setting all come together to deliver a game so well designed you won't see anything like it from any other dev, it's tot...
not only no but hell no
I loved Dark Souls but I agree, Demon's Souls was the most unique gaming experience I had last gen. Bloodborne, however, is exquisite and it's easily the best game I have played this gen. For me personally, it even eclipses Demon's Souls as I prefer the Gothic/Victorian Horror theme over medieval fantasy. It's a great setting, but's it's so overdone. That's a huge reason why Bloodborne shines, the setting is extremely unique as well as the amazing weapons and besti...
Completely agree, I can't even play Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin because I'm so addicted to Bloodborne's gameplay. Dark Souls 2 just feels slow and boring and I put hundreds of hours into Dark Souls and Demon's Souls. Bloodborne is so much more unique with it's setting, the use of guns and the character movement.
Are you drunk?
The fact they fixed the screen tearing in Uncharted Drakes Fortune is all I needed to know that Bluepoint went above and beyond. I loved the Gears of War remaster but The Coalition didn't fix the screen tearing despite having better hardware running a ten year old game. That was a disappointment though there were many other vast improvements. Can't wait to Uncharted Collection and the fact it comes out on a Friday makes it so sweet.
You mean Gherman? Yharnam is the name of the village/town.
I have personally never understood the obsession with trophies/achievements but little things like this make them worth going for. Well done From Software. Bloodborne is my GOTY by a longshot. On NG++ right now with almost 80 insight and it's a completely different experience from my first two playthroughs. Coop is almost required to defeat certain bosses, even regular enemies have become extremely powerful with different attacks. The game is extremely addicting.
I don't know why so many games run 900p on the bone and 1080 on ps4. I'd prefer they both run 900p so both systems have a rock solid framerate. For me personally, I will take framerate over resolution all day every day. That's what pisses me off about Bloodborne. Such an amazing game that's got a choppy framerate. And I know it has to do with frame pacing or whatever but that makes the actual framerate appear to stutter which is incredibly distracting at times, specifically du...
And that's because most don't have the patience or time it takes to understand the depth and beauty of these games. They are very hard and the average gamer can't handle it. I can admit that I have become frustrated at times with the difficulty, and I adore Bloodborne.
Completely agree, I would trade my left nut to play Bloodborne at a silky smooth 60fps.
