You're really comparing the POS launch of Assasin's Creed Unity to Bloodborne? They are not even close in terms of fail...Did you play Unity at launch? My friend is an Assasin's Creed fanboy and he returned it despite the fact that he had been anticipating its release for quite some time. Drawn to Death looks like something so cool and unique but I'm disappointed it's a Free to Play game. I'm super interested in Suda 51's exclusive Let it Die. He makes awesome games generally, though they can be a bit wacky. I personally love No More Heroes and Shadows of the Damned. They're two of my favorite "B movie" games from last gen.
I bought my PS4 with Bloodborne and The Order: 1886 in mind. Both easily justify my console purchase for me personally. Two very different beautiful new IP from Sony. I would be happy with just those two games.
LOL @ the hardest bosses. They are quite easy actually, the first truly hard boss in my opinion is Vicar Amelia because that bastard regenerates health if you don't kill it quick enough. I needed to summon another player after I died like 20 times and was raging.
IDK, I went into Gamestop yesterday afternoon around 1:30pm to pick up Borderlands for PS4 and there was a line of 50 people at least waiting for something. It looked like a midnight release for a popular franchise was going on. I left as quick as I walked in the door being I had little time to waste. I then realized it was probably due to these dumb things. Really, wtf is the point? I guess they are highly collectible?? Probably will be worthless in 5 years.
From Software is a Beast of a developer and Sony should really look into doing whatever they have to do to acquire them. They deserve to be a 1st party developer with all the creative freedom and funding they need just like Naughty Dog.

Same thing happened to me, I'm a vet with these games and even I was like WTF when I battled Father G thinking he was the first boss. That's a good way to make a gamer who is new to BB rage quit and never come back. This game is like being in an abusive relationship. You get mad at it and maybe even decide to breakup but always come back for more for some odd reason.

I have only defeated Cleric Beast, Father G, Vicar Amelia & Blood Starved Beast. I'm currently facing Paarl for the first time and died once so far, he seems quite challenging. In my opinion, Cleric was a joke, beat him the first time I ran into him without dying. I initially missed him and fought Father G first and was like, "wow, this is a tough first boss," LOL. I bet if GTA5 was exclusive to PS4 and Rockstar took enough time they could get it running at 1080p/60FPS or at least 900p/60fps. I blame the Xbone for the PS4 not being as good as it could possibly be.
That used to happen to me with Demon' Souls. I would dream about playing it and wake up intermittently throughout the night thinking about it. Bloodborne had that effect on me prior to release because I wanted it sooo bad.
